Good morning everyone!

4 hours on the trainer and a shirt T run this morning.  Then we're heading up to Boston to pick up  a wet suit at Fast Splits and a QT2 team party.

Nice run this morning followed by a swim at the gym.  Swim did not go well and I cut it short at 1000 yards.  I need to split those up a little more.  I was just too tired to care.  Not the usual start-of-exercise malaise, but really not into the workout at all.

The run was great though.  Cool but nice when I started, a little overdressed, but not too bad.  Kept my HR down most of the run until about the last 2 miles then it started creeping up a bit.

If its this nice tomorrow, I might go out in shorts!

Finally nice enough to ride outside.  First ride on the new bike outdoors.  Roads were wet in some areas. And strong winds in my face for the first ten miles. It felt like I was pedaling my a$$ off, and getting no where! It's all hills and open fields at the start of this ride, but you can see for miles!  It'll be nice on early morning summer days and Fall rides.

23.1 miles.  Felt great to get out.

Got my bike back from getting it fit and tuned up and a computer put on. Going on a long ride tomorrow with a local cycle/tri club they are expecting 50 plus people for the ride. Should be interesting.

11.03 mile run today! Now this is my longest run! The winds were terrible today - the gusts kept blowing us around!

Next week is a rest week! Thank goodness!

Its warm, but maybe not quite warm enough for shorts.

I have a 90 min recovery ride and a 90 minute run today.  Hopefully it stops raining and I can do them both outside.

Great run this morning.  Outdoors two days in a row.  Loving it.  5.57 miles, 8:14 pace, 147 HR avg.  My HR average seems to be getting lower and lower.

I should have went in shorts.  It was just a little too warm.  I was at a point in my run where I knew I could run in and change but I also knew that I might not get back outside so I kept going.  Started a little late, but at least the sun was mostly up so I had the odd experience of starting a run in daylight.

Did pretty good for about 12 miles and then started playing numbers games to keep going.  Around 14 miles I walked a little every mile and then half mile - not too shabby because this route is very hilly from miles 12 through 16.  Long consistent up hills and a few really steep ones.  Then it starts to rain.  Normally I wouldn't like a cold rain, but it was good at this point because I was getting little hot.

I am soooo tired right now.

And it always seems like a headwind too.  Good job on the run.  Is this the first one in double digits?

I weighed in today at 140.5, so it looks like I made my original goal weight.  That makes me feel really great considering I had a baby 1 year ago.  I'll post some before and after photos, too.

My son's birthday party was so much fun.  We made Pad Thai & Chicken Satay, and it was soooooo good.  I stayed away from the alcohol and only ate a tiny piece of cake.

Kelly - love the wetsuit!

It sounds like some of you had some great weather this weekend.  I'm so jealous.  Rain & then snow in Cleveland.  Boo!!

ooooooo pace booty!!!!

You took the words right out of my mouth.

67 miles today. Averaged about 17 mph.  Decent pace and good friends made it really fun.  Parts were on the IMTX course.  Saw a ton of guys going opposite of us.  My guess is training on course.  The hills really were pretty tame.  Kelly you should kill this course next May.

Pouring rain here today (poured for most of the day yesterday too).

Heading to the gym to lift and then swimming this afternoon.  Hopefully the weather will dry up for my run tomorrow.

Swimming tonight.  I'm not sore today from yesterdays 19'er, but it really wiped me out - I was just a slug after the run.

We're in the middle of a typical wacky March - 50's yesterday, 30's today, rain then sun.  Here's to a great spring in two weeks.

Had a nice ride yesterday we ended up doing 52.5 miles. There were about 25 rides so the pace line was fun. The pace lines seem to make a big difference. I felt like I could have rode all day at the 20 mph pace we were on. The bike fit made a big difference I was much more comfortable on the bike. The only draw back was one of the aero bars came lose about half way thur the ride.
