Artemis - 2008-07-07 3:27 PM Had more tests done today and everything came back fine. Doctor thinks it might be muscoloskeletal. Who knows at this point?

does that mean the dr is going to fall back on the solution being to not run anymore - sheesh!

That was the GI doc. My regular doctor knows there's no chance I'll do it.

Sounds like the GI needs to learn...

I have a feeling that will happen or it will be a new GI

Lol - i have 'fond' memories of butting heads with mine, and the physio...

Maybe that's why I haven't consulted with the ortho yet. I am working with my chiro, though. She just did her first tri over the weekend and wants to train with me. Maybe we can work out a nice "bartering" arrangement

sounds like a match made in heaven!

I had such an arrangement with my massage therapist........it was sweet!

on the upside, I talked to her last night - she just started a gig at Club Med (LTF) - loves it and is going to give me a freebe massage the next time I'm in town!

woo hoo!

kns57 - 2008-07-07 5:00 PM Fly by post. Hopefully I can get on again later. Survived the weekend on the motorcycle. barely! Found out that I am not ready for highway riding with speed and cars and speed and being tired and speed and cars and... You get the idea. Anyway, I made Frank pull off yesterday and when I got off the motorcycle I was crying so hard I was doing that Darth Vadar thing and couldn't breath right for the life of me. I think I really scared Frank. Serves him right, he's the one who got me scared. Anyway once I calmed down I did get back on (Had to, we were still over 120 miles from home) and we took backroads and I was a whole lot better. So, now we know. Kendra is not ready for two LONG days on the motorcycle or for the highway, speed and traffic. I still love you Frank (if he ever gets back on BT, LOL)

Do we congratulate your fortitude for sticking it out and give you props for making it through or gang up on Frank for putting you through that living h3ll?

We congratulate me for sticking it out. It has taken him 26 yers to get me on the bike so we can't say he pushed me too fast...LOL

Way to stick it out Kendra... I can remember my firt times riding with roads and the panic tha ensued on a bicycle... cannot imagine what it would be like on a motorbike.

The positive is you stuck it out and got home all ok... hopefully its the start of bigger better things for yuo!

Cat

Funny thing is I had Frank try and call our son. If he had been home I would have made him drive up to get me. So, I guess it was fate that intervened to get me back on the bike. I'm glad it did, cause the rest of the ride was good.

Beth - glad your ear is better.

Jen - I'm sorry you haven't had any resolutions with your health.

Pam - the barter system is great.

Dee - WOw a race named after you. Of course we don't know if your name really is DEE or the initial just became your name on BT.

Cat - Yeah it is going to take some getting used to the motobike.

Heather - kids will keep you busy and it has only just begun for you.

Amy - I know it's hard with hubby traveling, but you do have two wonderful kids to keep you busy.

Hello to all other Nibbs.
