I am now starting to think, what the heck am I going to make..................... I've always done a nice Christmas eve dinner, but have only been responsible for the 'relish tray' on Christmas day....................certain people never figured out I could cook - oh well...... what should I make I vote for reservations! hehe thats the easy option,... If you WANT to cook I vote for sticking to a few favourites... so in my case I make Eskimo log for ME! And Rocky Road for ME! and Pavlova for ME! I stick with roast style meat and vegies because you heat the oven, through it in avoiding any on going effort apart from remembering to take it out at the right time. Basically pick something you dont have regularly, that EVERYONE enjoys... at the end of the day its about the company and NOT the meal! |

Master 1989 New Jersey | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge I went to my son's high school swim meet tonight. Usually their meets are right after school so I don't get to go. Man oh man, that boy is fast!! And he's actually one of the slower ones on the team. MAN! He's only a sophomore (and young for it), so he's still got a lot of filling out to do, but as he got out of the pool, it's amazing to see the muscles in his arms, shoulders and back. Wow. Give him a year or two, and I'm gonna have to keep him away from you ladies and your wine. |

I really shouldn't open another since I MUST get up early and run. Bummer. I hope it is snowing a little for my run in the morning. That could be really peaceful! that sounds nice - I never would have said that a year ago - lol |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge Well, I sometimes get to chat with the lovely ladies down under as well, but as I have ZERO work and I forgot to bring the puzzle back to finish it, I'm more than a bit bored. I am very seriously contemplating driving 20 minutes home and 20 minutes back just to go get the puzzles so I can finish them. |

I got up early this morning, ran after work, figured I would be in bed early - but I seemed o have passed that time of feeling tired.............. how are you? Ugh, I know what you mean. I went through a period awhile ago where I was utterly wiped out when I tried to be awake, but then couldn't sleep when it was time to sleep. It was a horrible cycle! I finally just slept for 12 hours two days in a row, and somehow that reset! That is one of the advantages of night shift - since I rarely get to socialize, I rarely have stuff that I miss by sleeping in! |

Especially in an empty or nearly empty pool. I'm always a bit disconcerted when I get out and there's a world out there! Alas, I just got work thrown my way, so I'm off to do it, and then to drive home. Yay for wasteful consumption of cheap oil resources! Now let's just hope like hades that I don't get in an accident in the snow and have to explain THAT to my boss! LOL! |
