I got the Liberty Bell to drop the first day. I still have not had the 7 drop... but thanks to Jen I don't need it. If I get one I will be sure to forward it on.

2 X weekend just started.

Yup.  And I only have one job available to do in the entire game that has no percentage to it.  And I still need another 1 million baht to do it!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm probably going to have a really hard time collecting that much before the end of the weekend so I'm going to miss out again.  Damnit!!

I caught the announcement luckily and spent a day or so collecting satellite phones....so I went to do my next sat phone job today and it's a 1% one!  So with double mastery I was getting 2% however I'm now out of phones and that job wasn't even complete yet!  But I don't want to waste double mastery on a job that is already mastered.  So I am hitting my 3-4 other jobs that are not mastered yet and don't need phones.  I have plenty to keep me busy all weekend....if for some reason I get stuck (which I really doubt will happen....I have almost a million baht in the bank so if another job opens up I'm probably all set) I'll go back to looting phones.  But I think I can make some progress.....unfortunately a lot of the jobs I have to do right now are 3% ones...even with double mastery it uses up a lot of energy.

Edited to add:  I am also five clicks away from finishing up South Africa...but I need to wait until tomorrow morning to get more tickets.  With my collection in the morning I should have enough to finish it out.  I paid for tickets once (10 RP) but otherwise have just collected and managed to finish.  I could have done without paying for them but would have been banking on managing to log in on the last day...and with the internet here that is REALLY sketchy.  I think they are finally finding a formula that works for the special cities...they are doable without living on Mafia Wars for three weeks.  However, I do not like that they take energy away that I would rather be using on double mastery.

Now, who has all 7 Vegas items?  I am up to 6.  I just keep getting stupid show tigers!

Finally got the guitar thing so I got all 7.  But I don't think I got anything for getting them all????

I think the guitar is the 7th item...and then you should have gotten something called a "Jackpot" which is some kind of weapon I think.  At least, I got those two things at the same time and it seemed to indicate that one was the special loot.

This is a "re-release" from when they put these out a few weeks ago...I guess a lot of people didn't get all 7 that round, so they did it again.

Just saw on the MW profile page that they had extended South Africa a day as well...no wonder it felt easier to finish!

Since I didn't collect my tickets last night I'm not going to finish SA.  I was on the last job as well!

Oh, and I finally collected the 2 million baht I needed to do the one job I had open.  Finished it off with the double mastery and now onto the finale in Rd. 3 of Assasin.

Yeah, need over 6 million baht for that one.

One job.

6 million baht.

And I'm not even on the last round of Assasin, only the 3rd one!!

This level is going to take months!!!

Okay, so I'll admit that I now occasionally run into a Baht shortage.  Though, with my number of unfinished jobs and need for satellite phones it's rarely a big deal.  I'm still making progress.

I'm guessing that once Las Vegas opens the trick is going to be to use all your extra energy there while you let your businesses earn enough Baht to buy the stuff for the next jobs.  I'm trying to finish up Episode 4 right now so I can sell all that stuff off.  But I have 5 through 7 open all at the same time.  I think the first 5A is on Level 4...so that will be the next priority.  But on 5A, 5B, and 6 I am stuck on satellite phones!  Ugh!  I guess I'll spend the next few weeks stocking up in anticipation of the next double mastery weekend....in the meantime I'm hitting up all the open jobs I have that don't require sat phones.

It will take a month to collect enough baht to buy enough to do one job relying on the businesses.  I'm just going to pound out the jobs for baht and get through Bangkok.  I'm almost to the last round of the last level, so I'll suck it up and just finish it.  I want that "Grand Master Assasin" on my name.

I'm pizzed though because I am 4 jobs away from finishing SA and I'm out of tickets and energy - not too mention time.  If I had collected last night I would have been able to beat it!

That stinks.  Did you have any Reward Points to buy some with?  I bought one round with RP's...turns out I probably would not have had to...and REALLY would not have had to if I had decent reliable internet....but it gave me peace of mind.

Today I blew the rest of my RP's on two energy refills when they were on sale for 8 RP's apiece.  I did them about an hour before double mastery was supposed to end...and I think it got me two level-ups even if I wasted probably about 300-400 energy points due to not hitting the level up exactly right.  Anyway, it was a nice boost combined with an energy pack I had.  I had used 11 RP's earlier in the week for 10 extra mafia members...too good a sale to pass up!  Regular price is 20 RP's and sometimes on sale for 15.  11 is cheap!

I'm almost out of jobs I can do without satellite phones so I guess once I am I shall do the satellite phone job over and over which will serve dual purpose of getting me more Baht stocked up.  Plus I REALLY need to finish Episode 4 to sell that stuff off!  I believe I need about 45ish satellite phones to finish that level....that's a couple of days of doing the satellite phone job!  I am down to about $200K Baht at the moment...oopsie!

I haven't completed a single job in over a week, since I have to gather so much Baht.  I'm on level 3 of Episode 7.  I really hope Las Vegas opens soon, so I can feel somewhat productive while waiting to accumulate Baht.

I was doing the same thing, with multiple jobs open but it was taking too much Bhat. I started focusing on a level in Bangkok and then selling what I didn't need so I had enough money for the next level. This appears to be working better for me. I am on level 4 of 5B with everything below that done. I have not done jobs in 6 and 7 in a few weeks. Once I finished 5A I was able to sell all those items to get enough cash to do 5B or i think I have.

There is an overlap of stuff in 6 and 7 so you cannot dump it all.

And you do not need phones in the 7th level, so that is a redeeming thing.

I have everything but the lucky 7, how do I get that?
