Happy Saturday A-Team!!  We had my daughter's first soccer game this morning...  True to her nature my daughter was very hesitant at first, but after about her 3rd roation in she really got in to it.  It was a lot of fun watching 4-6 year old having so much fun!  I was in charge of getting the kids into the roation and on the field so it was a little hectic but they are really a great group of kids.  That was followed by both girls last swim lesson of the session and then the whole family played around in the pool after.  I got a hilly 4.3 mile run in and we are ALL exhausted now!

Can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow!

Hey all...been kind of slacking on the workouts of late...My time is a bit more limited without a car, but I don't know that I would have made it to the gym even if I did have the car.

Hopefully I will make it to the gym today for a nice long swim.

I have a half mary on may 1st...I haven't really trained at all for it, but it will be fun regardless.  I should see if I know anyone else doing it.  ???

why in the world do people make tec shirts with white accenting under the arms???

 tech shirt

the shirt is fun, but is there any way to avoid it getting yellowed under the arms (Beside not sweating)?

billsorg - 2010-04-23 12:22 PM I blew off all workouts today.  Feeling a little guilty, but knowing my 20-week plan starts on Monday, I'll be burning the candle at both ends for the next few months.  Have a great weekend A-team!

Hey Bill, you can only use that excuse once!  Seems like this has become a recurring theme lately Wink

Sad but true! Embarassed no excuses starting tomorrow!  Promise!

LOL - I've never found a way to avoid the yellow...  but I have to say this is by far MUCH cooler than any other shirt I have ever received from a race!!!

they are giving tech hats instead of medals to all the finishers....and there are mariachi bands at start, finish and along the course!

It is next saturday and is going to be a fun event.  I just wish that I could run the entire thing...it will end up being a jog with lots of walking.

MORNING TOPPAGE!!!

Bill, I have to say that I wish I was as chipper as you sound on a Monday morning!  I am sucking down my coffee like my life depends on it...

I actually had what should sound like two good nights sleep - I fell asleep with kids both Sat and last night around 8:30.  But then both kept waking up ALL night!  Between needing the potty, nightmares, the cat, and just wanting Mommy the girls must have been up 3 times each both nights.  Just as I would doze off again, the other would wake up.

20 mile trainer ride tonight, though.  That should be sleep-inducing!  Maybe I'l tire the kids out by making them run around the block 3 times before bed...
