kns57 - 2008-08-08 10:51 AM Just think, If I had tried, I could have gotten 100 posts out of that last one. LOL

That would have been funny.

I have a feeling that I would still be typing it.

Don't have that many and I'm already over 40...  I need to retire early...

Big Sur
Florida Keys
Mount Rushmore (this summer)
San Francisco Bay Area
Yellowstone

Amsterdam
Barcelona
Paris

Retire early but still need lots of money to get this list done. I want one of those around the world tickets that you take in one direction for a year. Then maybe I could knock out a lot of this list. LOL

You are still very young. You could potentially do two a year and get it done in your lifetime.

Check out the book: 1001 Places to See Before You Die.

I've got that one at home and am slowing working my way through it. Have a long long way to go on that one.

Hmmm - I am thinking Beth is on the phone with her financial advisor seeing if she can afford to fly us all over the world next year - cool!

Beth - it doesn't even have to be first class

My list is now up to 17. I forgot that I had been to Petra as a child when we were missionaries in Jordan. Wow, how could I forget that. Riding in on camels. OMG

Hi Beth!

We are all meeting next March to start the 100 places to see in the world BT Nibbs trip and since you were not available we delegated financial responsibility to you

Someone (name withheld due to privacy reasons) is having "lunch" with her husband.

Not many of us have been to a lot of the 100 dream places.

There are none in Colorado and Niagara Falls is not listed either (Partiality on my sie - just curious as to why?)

Sal is working from home - Beth is working from home - Does 1+1=2 here

I am eating Charlie the Butcher Mac N Cheese and a Turkey Sandwich for lunch and I actually have to work this afternoon - drats!

Not much more that I can recall but I am sure I am missing some valuable information.

LOL!  good recap -

That sounds pretty cool!

I hit 6 and could not cheat my way into anymore even though I have flown over The Grand Canyon and The Statue of Liberty.  That doesn't count, does it.  Good thing I just back from Acadia of I would be at 5

Yeah, I did not count the Statue of Liberty even though I have flown over and gone by in in a boat. I figure that since I did not stop on the island I did not viist it.

So we decided yesterday that we are going to go to Mexico at the end of November for a friend's wedding.  Originally we couldn't afford it, but we found some really cheap plane tickets.  But now I have to get a new passport.  I don't think I need to expedite, but I don't really know.  Anyone have any insight?

Where in Mexico. I'll be Puerta Vallarta over Thanksgiving week.
I paid for mine to be expedited last year and it still took them about 6 weeks.
