I missed everyone. Now I am going- hopefully to run but if that doesn't work I'll do a drainer ride. I will be gone, gone, gone until Sunday night or Monday morning.

Sounds like a great salad! I made BLTs here, and on mine I added avocado and jalapenos that I'd fried in bacon grease. Was the bacon grease really necessary you ask? No. But it was SOOOOO good.


It was a great salad!! Haha. You`re right...friend in bacon grease is unnecessary...I`m fairly certain I would never do that...haha

What a great day.  I think we managed to hit 60 degrees today.

I biked to work today, swam a quick 1500 after that, and then went on a "real" ride.  I had to take advantage of the weather while I could because unfortunately in less than 24 hours it will be snowing here.  Boo!!

I'll vote for the Lightning Thief too.  I was disappointed with a few of the changes they made from the book, but as a movie it was still pretty darn good.

I had a rough evening.

My bike ride consisted of situation involving  a Rottweiler and me crashing.

Now my knee is killing me. I've been icing it and I have it propped up.

My hip is bruised and pretty sore now, too.

My elbow is a little sore but I think my hip took the brunt of it. I think I twisted my knee more than hit it on the way down. I couldn't get unclipped in time.

I'll explain more later. Now I'm tired and sore and I think I'm going to go lie down.

Ann, that just sucks.  So sorry to hear this.  I was doing a quick skim of today's comings and goings and just stopped cold on this.   Sending healing thoughts, advil and ice packs your way.

Hi Ghoulies.  Had my first ART/PT session for the left knee today.  I think it went well and can tell the difference.  Bottom line:  quads tight, hammy's weak.  I am such a girl.  I am very motivated to stay on track with training, so we'll see where it goes.

Ps, pain factor was very manageable
