Watched the match at Wimbledon today...10hrs of tennis?

Wooowww...Wonder what will happen tomorrow? Crazy crazy crazy. At one point they were comparing it to doing an Ironman! Haha.

I have decided I have issues. Like you didn't already know that, huh?

The past 2 days I have been getting up at 3:45 so I could be out of the house by 4:00 for my run.

This morning I was laying in bed awake at 3:30 wondering if I should just turn my alarm off and go? Maybe I should have just called Amy to see what she was up to.

That's not normal, is it?

I also made an observation this morning while running.

When I first start out I look like I'm doing this sickly granny shuffle. While I'm doing this I have pain in both knees. Once I get warmed up though and get in my groove, and relax, I don't have the pain anymore.

The moral of this story is...

Relax

Found some photos from the weekend...I swear I'm just this crazy stocky chick..haha...I want to be dainty! Yell Ha!

You are a crazy PAM and don't you forget it!

I still want to be dainty! Yell (harumph.!)

My friend just messaged me this: you are fast, if you wanted to be small you should have just skipped the whole ironman thing and done weight watchers...

Yell

Haha. Woe is me.

Is that where we all went wrong?  LOL

Apparently...Haha.

Big and healthy is WAY better than small and unhealthy!

Let me remind you...

I have thunder thighs
And that's a compliment
Because they are strong
and toned
and muscular
and though they are unwelcome
in the petite section
they are cheered on in marathons
thirty years from now
I'll bounce a grandchild on my thunder thighs
and then I'll go out for a run
just do it

AND

My shoulders
aren't dainty
or proportional to my hips
some say they are like a man's
I say, leave men out of it
They are mine
I made them
In a swimming pool
Then I went to yoga
and made my arms
just do it

I do the same. I have found that actually taking 2-4 minutes to warm up by walking helps me to get into form way earlier so my shins and food don't hurt!

No, that is not normal. However, I have a solution. We all need to meet and have transfusions. I will give up some of my innate ability to be a sloth which can be a blessing. I am hardly ever bored- very easily entertained. Melindy can give up some of her youth and energy. You can send some of your restlessness my way. It may work.

I think this is a GREAT idea!

Can we sip beverages that being with M's like maybe margarita's and mojito's while we are transfusioning?

ironannekidd - 2010-06-24 7:19 AM Hi Robin!

How was your evening?

Nice. It was rather uneventful since they had the big surprise party last week. My hubbie and mom went out for a fantastic meal. Now I HAVE to run today. It was probably sinful.

The past 2 days I have gone out to my car and closed my eyes for a few minutes. The combination of waking up so early and the muscle relaxers made me very sleepy. Yes it was hot out, but that didn't stop me. I put the windows down and there was a breeze.

A few minutes of rest and I was good to go the rest of the day. I didn't take any muscle relaxers this morning, but I wish I would have. I can feel it tensing up. I have some Aleve I can try, but they aren't really muscle relaxers.

Take the Aleve before pain really sets in and make sure you get up from your desk every 20 minutes or so and stretch out and relax.

There ARE advantages to working from your house, aren't there?

On the downside, you never get to call off because the road conditions are bad and you can't get to work.
