Has anyone put milk in tea?  I want to try tea that I have - it says it is good with milk and honey.  Doesn't the milk curdle?  It seems like it should be so simple, but I'm really confused.

Well, if anyone is curious, I put the milk in afterwards.  It separated out a little, but not too bad.  Plus, it tastes delicious with the vanilla red tea with some honey.

It'll only curdle if you add lemon.

And yes, I do speak from experience.... It *sounded* good - tea with milk and lemon. But I didn't stop to think of the chemistry that would occur next. Ewwww!

Yeah that sounds really disgusting.

I do not have lemon, so it won't be a problem.

Breakfast Tea, Chai tea, Earl.Lady Grey etc are all meant to be drunk with milk.... (black teas generally)

I thought that was a universal thing... or maybe its just very English...

Hello Nibbs. Board meeting was boring tonight. The new Chairperson loves to hear herself talk. If she would just stop telling the stories that no one really wants to hear, we could have been out of there 30 minutes earlier.

In other good news, my cousin is getting married and decided that her bridesmaids get to wear a darker colored dress (latte instead of champagne).  I'm excited as I will look way less pasty white.

Yes, it is.  It will be pretty. Her dress is ivory and champagne.  We're wearing slightly darker brown and using the champagne as accent colors (I'll have a champagne ribbon around my waist).

I was teasing her about it when we tried dresses on and then all the other girls told her the same thing.  I really didn't mean for her to change things, but I am happy.

Word is he is off the oxygen and also the seizure medicine. His fever broke yesterday and the cultures should come back tomorrow. If he has a good night, then it is possible that he might be able to come home tomorrow.

Daughter is holding up okay. She is very tired and I'm sure she is missing the other three children whom she hasn't seen since Friday evening.

So it looks like all the good thoughts and prayers are doing the job.

Thanks for asking.
