OH I don't know, the burn you get finishing a set, or a bike sprint, or a rowing race piece kinda hurts so good. It's good because it's a sign you are doing work and you take joy in the fact you are getting stronger - which is why it's "good" Ok, I won't say YOU, but me... Would I want that same burn just sitting on the couch or at my desk? Probably not. If there was another "sign" I maxed out other than the burn to know I pushed hard? I would probably take it. I guess I'm saying the pain feels good becuase of what it represents, but the pain itself? I don't need it. |
