I heart my bike shoes. They're so comfy and fit just-right... Mine are also very comfy... and I bought them because a portion of the money went to breast cancer research (and I'm in favor of healthy breasts). They do have a tiny pink awareness ribbon on them. However, I still want the PI shoes. I like to have options. Lots and lots of options. |

Debating if I should bike or swim this afternoon after I drop little man at school. I really want a nap! But, my biking needs attention. Who needs sleep, right??? Meh! Sleep is over-rated!!! *lol* |

Can you get male & female shoes? I thought they were all the same! Mine are just standard issue Shimano black & white, nothing special but they do the job. My running shoes are pink though! |

Yes please... can we also include some caffiene and some painkillers? In fact can I just get both via an IV? I could probably fix you up with an IV - not sure it would be legal though *lol* |

I went down with the plague but after a few days of sleep I'm feeling much better. Come tomorrow, I'm hoping to get back down to the business of winning this challenge. A run, a bike, and two swims on the schedule for weekend. And a football game. And maybe some vodka tonics. And I suppose some study time too. Who wants to come clean my house this weekend? It looks like my schedule is already full up. Maybe if I get The Dude drunk enough I can trick him into agreeing to do housework... I hate housework. My husband does a fair amount but he's not very good at it bless him! Especially when it comes to things like bathrooms and washing dishes. He's a very good cook though and cooks most weeknights 'cos I come home late every night. Anyway it got to a point where I was spending all my RDO's cleaning and it was causing heaps of tension, so we got a house cleaner to come in every fortnight. It only costs us $60 a pop and its the best thing we ever did |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Hey gang. Gonna punk out on multi-posting tonight. Having a crappy night at work, had a crappy sleep (or rather, lack thereof), made worse by the choice to skip my run in order to get more sleep. THAT plan backfired hardcore. Mila, now you find out the real reason I will be your swim coach: to get access to a pool! I swim outside. This weekend I intend to chuck small children into a mountain stream-fed pond, then jump in after them, and count that as my workout! An attack is a very real possibility, but not really, because I will get out before I turn all the way white. But turning purple and orange is kinda cool, as long as the hot chocolate is bubbling away when I get out. Hmm, I bet vanilla vodka tastes yummy in hot chocolate... Anywho, hope everyone has an awesome weekend! |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) joemac3 - 2008-09-19 7:27 AM I am so excited. Speaking of shoes... I may be getting new running shoes this weekend. I hope so because my knee is really taking a beating and I am sure that it can't be good. After getting a few opinions I have discovered that a problem with my knee injury could be partly due to my shoes and how worn they are. So I am working on my running form (which should help) and I hopefully will get new shoes this weekend, and then I hope it just comes down to strengthening the muscles that have atrophied from the surgery and recovery time. I had these ones in mind. What do you guys think, being the shoe experts you guys are. Ooo, Zoots. Nice. I want Newtons but don't run well enough or put in enough miles to justify the expense! I ended up getting Asics Landreth 4s. I had Landreth 3s so hopefully these will work well for me and I can end my shoe search! (aren't they ugly!) Veteran 150 | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Finally got to the gym this morning. Hubby on crutches is really ruining the workouts. It's too difficult for him to watch the 3 yr old and 16 month old. Waking up at 4:30 this morning was oh so fun. Gasp!! |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) I am currently up to 67 miles ran with a 10k race on Sun. I am a little behind on the biking miles, but I am planning on getting a nice long ride in over the weekend, so that shouldn't be a big issue. |
