I know, it really stinks looking at the postives, I was able to get a lot of stuff done today - and if he was flying in tonight, it would have been a game of delays - it's sort of humorous actually, cuz I keep getting text messages from orbitz, I'm well informed about the status of the flight my son missed! |

Limiter Challenge ebshot - 2008-12-20 7:39 PM We have a snow blower so we are in pretty good shape, that and the fact that the driveway is short and filled with cars. I had a fun run in the snow yesterday and hope to repeat in the morning. I hadn't run in a week for various reasons and was afraid I had lost all my training. Silly I know, but it just makes me nervous when I can't get out there. How was your day?KOM - 2008-12-20 7:32 PM Bon Soir Vixies! Hey Kathy! Did you dig out? Our neighbor has a snow blower but didn't come over until after I had been out for 2 hours. He saved me from having to shovel the snow at the end of the driveway from the snow plow! Good times! Strangely quiet! The morning was spent outside but the afternoon was so quiet! We stayed home and just enjoyed the day. Cole and I put together a puzzle, Alex and Liam played games, Bryan played on the computer.....then we watched Mamma Mia. It was nice. I made dinner, made some truffles for tomorrow having wine.....good day! I am hoping for rain tomorrow. I need to run but if it is crappy weather, I am not sure it will happen. I asked Santa for YakTrax so I can run in the snow. Hope he comes through for me! I'll take the treadmill at this point! I'm desperate!! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge I've heard other blogs mention YakTraks (sp) but I'm not familiar with them. Are they just a clip on cleat? I have an extreme dislike for the dready but would rather run in snow than rain. The nice thing about all the outdoor time is everyone is tired by the evening and just happy to chill. Between the warm fire, food and fatigue my family is practically comatose tonight! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge Same for me. I get so into my head on the treadmill and it is constantly telling me to STOP! When I am outside I can focus on other things, plus I can just get 2-3 miles from home and then I'm forced to go back, on the dready I can stop any time and I do. Are your kids off school now? 2 weeks of family time....has it's up & down sides.... |

Bryan is on vacation until the 27th so I can head out on the road until then. Even after he goes back to work, he doesn't have to go into work everyday so I should be able to avoid the treadmill most days. I really need to get running in order to be ready for Hyannis! It's coming up fast! Do you have a goal time in mind? |
