So... did I ever find out what Columbus day was?
Oh, Christopher Columbus was the guy who thought he sailed around the world or something and was in India. Turns out he was in what would be America, but he called the natives Indians anyway. So, even though it was accidental, he discovered America. Of course some people say it was some Viking guy. Either way, there is a holiday named after him and no banks or government offices are open |

So its basically an excuse for government people to have a day off? |

It's taken me a few times to get it to stick. I still have to look up a few things, but it's a lot easier as I do it more often. Guess that makes sense... practice nad all! |

Wah, howdy Bill! Rowr! Have you caught Dodger fever? So sad, but no. I used to love baseball but it's gotten WAY too expensive ... crosstown trip, $20 just for parking, etc. |

Wah, howdy Bill! Rowr! Have you caught Dodger fever? So sad, but no. I used to love baseball but it's gotten WAY too expensive ... crosstown trip, $20 just for parking, etc. It's really sad how professional sports has almost priced itself out of the local fanbase. I've always wanted to live in a city with a team, but then I realize I probably couldn't afford to go.

That's the downside of having a huge reservoir to ride along. When the wing is coming off of it, it is serious. |
