Can one of the cabana boys bring me a drink?

If they don't have time to put their speedo's on that's okay

We've had quite the Monday here... one of my co-workers turned in his resignation... life is going to suck more than usual this b-ball season

oh no!

Does that mean they're not going to fill the position?

kns57 - 2008-11-10 4:30 PM I'm back from the cold cold north. Sal, how do you handle it all winter long. It was a great weekend and we walked all over the place and, yes, my coat was perfect. I stayed nice and warm between my coat, long johns, scarf, gloves, etc. My nose was cold though.

Kendra!  Believe it or not, your body acclimatizes.  This is the toughest part of the year.  We had 70 degree weather just last week, and the highs are only in the upper 30s this week.  That's a 40 degree drop.  I'm still a little whiny about it.  But like I said, your body adapts.  Soon I'll be out running in 15 degree weather.  By March, we'll be walking around in shorts and a T-shirt once it breaks freezing!

Bummer I couldn't get together with you this weekend.  It was rough.  Volunteer work on Friday and Saturday.  Had prior commitments with my wife on Saturday night.  Church responsibilities on Sunday morning and friends from out of town in on Sunday night.  I shoulda just come up there and got you and drug you down...

it really does - it sort of cracks me up out here, I'm walking around not even wearing a jacket and people here are wearing sweaters and coats - and Nebraska is warm compared to Minnesota!

- we have a neighbor that moved here from florida and she is bundled up in a parka!

My shoulder is just fine.

Of course, I haven't been to the pool in... um. A long time.

Actually, it still hurts. Even without swimming.

But it hurts LESS now. (Because I haven't been swimming.)

Kind of a catch-22 type of thing.

Tear = bad OK to run Sat = good No running for 2 wks = bad (but at least you're OK for Sat) Massage therapy = sounds good, but may not always feel that way! Glad you're going to be able to run on Sat.

The bit I dont get is 2 weeks down time isnt very long so it means the injury isnt too severe right?

And they're letting her run on Saturday, which also indicates to me that it probably isn't too severe....

It sounds really painful though.....

I torn a muscle once. I went straight down to the ground. BOOM!

And, of course, I still had to get home....................... It was a long walk, limp.
