dimplespoo - 2010-03-22 2:29 PM Think it would be wrong to just number the posts until I hit 700

It would be funny for a minute, but then might get a little boring after a while.

You could have dragged that on for at least twice that long.  Most of those posts had two words each.  What kind of post padding is that?

Wow.  To think that this morning we were down by about 75 posts.  Now we're up by over 100.  Are we the post-padding leaders of the world or what?

Tim what are your thoughts on an H-Bar or wide road bar (woodchipper) on the mtn bike - do you see that ever??

I've seen them, but don't have any experience with them.  I ride a flat bar (0.5 degree rise)  that is cut to shoulder width.

I bet Bill must have posted at least 4 of those pages...hehehe

Pretty close - had to make up for the weekend where we were training and they were posting!

Paul helped out also - he has done a great job this morning - except for the mini bear honey mess in the microwave

Once I realized he wasn't talking about gummy bears (don't ask me what made me think that and NO I'm not blonde...at least not completely! ) I started LMO!!!

pdbman - 2010-03-22 1:08 PM You guys have any suggestions for a tight lower back?  Last week it was the right side, now its the left.  I look like an old man trying to walk after sitting at my desk for a little while.

Ahh yes - the old hip check.  I go see a chiro when mine gets like that but try and do some side stretching (hip/lower back area) but go easy you don't want to mess up it worst!

I don't have any links because the Chiro gave me paper instructions but if I find something I will post it!

Ditto...I LOVE my chiro!!

Who works for UPS right? - LOL

Yep. One of three programmers out west. The rest are in the data processing centers farther east.
I was trying to get a job with UPS a while back, but weren't any available in my area.  The benefits there are awesome!

I just love the truck...sounds like a NASCAR commercial, huh?!

Really? There's NOONE here? Oh well...I managed to get my run in at lunch and holy crap was it hot. I think today has been the hottest day in forever! Do not take that as complaining cuz I LOVE it and will dearly miss it when I move however, running in the middle of the day wasn't my smartest decision! Now I must go do my PT before I forget!

So I saw we are in first place in both aspects of the challenge and Jay had an awesome race this weekend.

Any other news worthy items amidst the last few pages of chatter that I should know about?

I missed several pages over the day!  Wow!  Can't leave the computer for a second or else I'm behind on the gossip!

I got a good trainer ride done today.  During one of my rest intervals, I had to get off the bike and pull up baby's pants.  (He was playing in his playpen while I rode the trainer.)  He was in danger of pulling his diaper off and causing all sorts of mayhem!  Do you all have the visual now?

tri808 - 2010-03-21 11:40 PM One thing I didn't mention in my RR was that I noticed afterward that when you got body marked, they asked if this was your first triathlon.  I thought the lady was just trying to make conversation, but I think that's what the "V" meant on my other calf...that this was my first as I saw other people with the "V", but not everyone.

I actually think that's a great idea, because a lot of people after the race asked me how I did...and sort of implied or knew that it was my first.  I thought maybe it was just obvious that I was a first timer, but I guess instead of it being "written on your head"...it's written on your calf.

That's a cool idea!

what about a awesome bike?

mchally - 2010-03-22  12:06 PM  This frame weighs less than 5 lbs, a bit more than carbon fiber, but it is far more durable... with a better fatigue life than steel or aluminum.
