Subject: RE: What famous people have you met? When I was in college (San Diego State University ), I used to work for the catering people that fed the acts when they performed in the arena at the school. I usually made the food and the other people served it, but I asked to get to serve Jethro Tull because I was a huge fan of Ian Anderson...I am a flute player (it was my major )...so I got to serve the band and he wasn't very nice. I didn't even talk to him, I just observed his behavior from the food table. I haven't really listened to Tull since.
I also had a roommate that grew up in Malibu. I have been up there to see here over the years and every time I go there, we run into someone famous...Louis Gosset Jr. was in the line at the grocery store behind us (his son kept asking if he could buy ice cream ), That tall skinny guy from Home Alone and City Slickers lives down the street from her and he offered to give us a ride to the grocery store one day. There were stars everywhere, but you could never say anything to any of them because is it just not done in Malibu.
Oh...I met Willie Nelson at a big truck convention several years ago.
Other than that, we really don't have any famous people near my wee little town in GA.
