kimmax - 2010-10-27 5:45 AM Okay - finished the half mary, can now walk normally again and have no excuses.

Question - Do you think you could do something like the Chest & Back at the gym and use the assisted pull up machine? - doing the pushups to the side between sets?  Just curious - I have the worksheets printed off so I know what the exercises are.

Still not sure if I'll follow the lean or classic so it'll either be Chest & Back or Core but I'll get it done!

totally.  aside from the warm up/down, the only thing you will miss is the timing between exercises.  well, that and tony's jokes.

if you have the list and the motivation to do "maximum, maximum, maximum reps", there is no reason you can't do it at a health club.  good luck!

Was given a lesson on how to use the machine on my lunch hour and arms are now trembling eek!

Also had the guy take my %BF reading and !!!  No resistance since July, 2 pounds heavier, clothes are tighter and guess who gained 5% BF?  I'm hoping it isn't accurate (different type of machine) but... it's probably not far off re: trend so... P90X here I come!!

Well I feel like a loser!  Hubby's work schedule prevented me from "getting it done".  So little time and so much to do!

i put off doing todays leg workout to do some work.  had a late afternoon meeting and expected to be home by 5.  instead, it took almost 2 hrs to get home and i was famished.  i opted to eat dinner instead of working out.

i'm thinking of getting up and running in the morning cos i've gotta get back on the s/b/r tip, then do the leg workout later in the day...

just rolling with it - will get my workouts in and not killing myself when i miss a day.  no races looming.

missed yoga today cuz up late workign on my side biz's website (making it Halloweeny) and working on some tourney stuff.  However, won the battle as opted to squeeze in a 4 mile run vs 2 days of nada.  things get less hectic so gonna do wed's tris, bis and back + ab ripper tomorrow.  cant wait!

I just realized it's been three weeks since I did my FIRST P90X workout and so I think it's safe to say... it's never gonna happen.  The only time I can see my getting a workout in is early morning but I'm using that time for my run/bike.  Maybe I'll do a workout here and there on the weekends or when I suddenly find some time but ya... disappointing.  I hope everyone else has great results with the program!!

3rd time's the charm?  Maybe?  I started week 5 AGAIN yesterday.  LOL!  Life has been getting in the way of a regular exercise routine for me this year!  I'm back on the east coast, but have time to work out, although the first week I didn't really...I ran once last week, then started P90X yesterday and did plyo today.  Woohoo.  I plan on running tomorrow followed by a workout.  I'm here for another almost 3 weeks, I have no excuses - i have the time, so i can do it.  Who's with me?  Anyone? Anyone?  I may start swimming too.  Swimming, running and P90Xing.  Gonna do my best...IM training has to start soon, too...but by then, I think P90X will be on the back burner.

I'm still (knock on wood) sticking with it. Reached the half-way point last Sunday. Today starts a recovery week. But I'm not trying to work this into other training, so much easier to "get 'r done".

Good luck with starting up again. Sucks how life gets in the way of "fun"
