Subject: RE: Big Steve's Group (Year Three) - ClosedThe only reason I am trying to learn the bi-lateral breathing, is because swimming any kind of distance is completely new to me. I did a little research on the web and found a site called "Swim Smooth", and they recommend learning to breathe from both sides, as Steve said, you swim straighter, and it can help with the sun, swells, etc. I am practicing in a 25 yd lap pool (not a lot of open water here in Arizona), I thought I had pretty good endurance, but swimming seems to be a different animal. Anyone who has any advice, I'll take it. Edited by Irwin5 2013-01-23 5:19 PM
