Enjoy your Sunday.  Guiness is great! Most people don't know that it is lighter in alcohol and calories than most other beers.

In the spirit of team building I may have join you in one later today.  It is part of my carb loading program--right?

Sorry to crash the Blagels/Cat party (lol!), but back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Got another stage in this afternoon.  More than halfway to my time goal, about 1/3 to my stage goal!

I hope the reason this thread has otherwise been so quiet is b/c you are all out riding!!

Or racing....

Stage 6 done under a torrential downpour, 40 km during my oly distance race.

Stage 7 coming up later during the day or early evening and this one will be a recovery ride.

Keep it up everyone!

Hi Team - just a quick reminder that Monday July 14th is the LAST day of week one of the challenge.

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams)

I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team.

I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Your team spreadsheet is here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-ARz5cmSXH4VA&hl=en

Hope everyone has had a great first week! Dont forget to keep supporting and inspiring your team mates - make sure you all keep in touch! 2 weeks left! (and feel free to stir up the other teams a bit too)

Stage 5 done - 21 mile ride out to a nice state park and back.  HOT out but otherwise a nice ride!  Now I'm off to take a nap by the pool, then join the carbo-loading fun with a beer (or 2) later.  Happy Sunday!

Just got back from finishing up stage 5.  I got kicked off the range by a range officer who told me "they were fixin' to run a mission".  "Fixin'" is southern for "getting ready to"...
