The whole lab was decorated with the standard Halloween stuff, plus a whole "lab gone wrong" section. Fake lab rats and body parts, dry ice, weird stuff in beaker. It was amazing! I didn't think it would be nearly so cool. |

At least I have ready access to lab coats and mad scientist type things. I'm going out as dry cleaning. I literally took the paper hanger cover (the one that says "we *heart* customers) cut it so you can get it over your head so it's over the top of your chest and back, punch arm holes in the plastic bag and take one of the pants type hangers with the paper bar across the bottom so you can take the bar out, and put it on a $1.99 headband. Cheapest costume ever! I'll wear a button down shirt or something dry-cleaning worthy under it. It's all I had time for! |

sounds like a wise choice - it would be bad to fall asleep while driving! my mom actually did that a few years ago - scared us to death! |

Next time I need to get up I'll put on the bike stuff....after that the run stuff. They want me to put on the wet suit...I'd die in it for part of the day You could put water in paper cups and dump it on your head. It would cool you off AND make it look like you'd just finished the swim. (Yep. I'm a giver.) |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXVII enders_shadow - 2008-10-31 9:18 AM I can't decide if I'm hardcore or just stupid. (Don't answer that until you finish reading the rest...) I just got in from a 1/2 hour on Baby - outside. Brrrr. Windows Vista tells me it is 32 degrees, my car told me 42 degrees. I'm still not warm. I've asked Sugar Daddy/Santa for a trainer, but he thinks that the Y across the street & the beautiful outdoors should suffice - so I figure once my fingers start working properly again, I'm going to spend all his money on cold weather riding gear. (And still keep nagging about the trainer.) I read the first sentence, and was about to reply.... But then I saw your command to NOT reply until I'd finished reading. Somehow, that took all the fun out of my pithy little reply. Anyway..... if you sum up the $$$ for the cold weather riding gear, you could just make sure it comes out to more than the trainer. Then show Sugar Daddy your results, and restate the case for getting a trainer. Then again, I think you secretly like going out side and riding in 32/42 degree weather. It makes you sound.... um, I'll go with "hardcore." |

Of course, you might have passed out from heat stroke, too. Good point. Of course, she could have dumped cups of ice water over herself. That would have had a nice cooling effect. Plus, it would have made the wetsuit scenario more realistic. |
