But I nannied for years - you don't think I don't know ANYTHING about babies and small children!?! All of the kids I cared for were under 5, and a few were infants when I first got to them. Parents are so afraid they coddle kids way too much. my ex-boyfriend's son, who was 6 or 7 at the time, needed his mom or grandma to wipe his a$$ after he went #2. when we had the kids the first time bailey expected me to do that i said HTFU you're a big boy now, wipe your own $hit (without all the sweaing, i'm not THAT mom-gene-less) his daughter who was 3 was getting chronic UTIs. i noticed in the bathroom she was wiping from back to front and maybe this was the cause. when i told her mom she was like "no there's nothing wrong with that, that couldn't possibly be the issue." really? cause i think fecal bacteria can cause a UTI. |
