I'm going to run today!  We are feeling much better.  Baby and I are meeting DH at the park for lunch.  He'll run to the park.  I'll run while he hangs with baby and then we will eat a nice picnic lunch.  (I made it while baby was taking his morning nap!)  Should be a nice lunch!  May try to make a habit of this!  Have a great day!

Well, look at that!  Toppage!

Don't let Stacie know

Morning Fighting Okra - hope the training is going well.

BTW - is it against BT Challenge rules for a non-participant to actively chat on a challenge thread?  Hmmmm - maybe that is why I have gotten 2 flats this week alone.

You can chat with us any time you want to!  It's great to have extra support!

went to the chiropractor.

second week in a row that ive not needed a cold laser treatment on any part of my anatomy - not my back, not my foot.  YAY!!    ive gone weeks without cold laser to my foot.  and months w/out pain in my foot.  pain that almost caused me to stop running altogether, STRUCTURAL MANAGEMENT is da bomb!

dinner is prepared.

hardwood floors swept.

bathrooms cleaned.

laundry almost complete.

book covers purchased.  [every store within a 20 mile radius was out, i called every hour on the hour until the shipment arrived.  as soon as it did, i went over lickety split.  OI.  im FINALLY done school shopping]

just waiting on the prodigy to arrive home.

heading out for a meet and greet at the school.

then to the Y for a 90 min stroke clinic.

and here my husband thinks i sit on my arse all day.  little does he know.  (just kidding)

hope everyones day is going swimmingly.

It's a really cool piece of granite that sticks up out of the ground here in GA.  There is a carving on the face of the mountain and they have a laser show there every night from Memorial day through Labor day.  The park has lots of activity, but for walking you have a 5 mile walk on sidewalks around the mountain or you can do the trails and that is about 6.5 miles around.  You can also hike up the mountain 1.5 miles up for a round trip of 3 miles.  You can bicycle around on the roads and on half of the road around the mountain there is a dedicated bicycle and walking lane.

yeppers. KENDRA cold laser can help with just about anything that ails ya.

joint pain, inflammation of the tissues....

as for what it is, they use laser light and w an instrument they direct that light into the area that needs treatment.  its the 'cold' end of the light spectrum hence the cold ie its not a temperature thing....

the light in that band/frequency to stimulate cells to promote healing ie reduction in inflammation, restoration of damaged tissue etc.  [interestingly they've found soundwaves in specific frequency to promote healing as well, i have a friend that does harmonic therapy using a didgeridoo]

they started out using it on my foot, inbetween my metatarsals where i developed bursitis, within a week i had relief from my symptoms, within a few weeks, the symptoms stopped altogether and ive been symptom free for weeks now.  [before trmnt i was taking daily doses of naproxen/ibuprofen 3-4xs a week]

they also have used it on my lower back/SI joint 2-3xs. again relief w/in the first week, now no pain at all......

the past two weeks i havent need any cold laser treatment at all, just manual adjustments.

moving forward!  YAY!

its pretty cool.  non-invasive.  you dont feel a thing when they use it.

the instrument itself looks a little bit like what they use when you have a sonogram....a handle w a rounded end,  like in the shape of a gord/skinny pear....

stacieb

you can chk out my chiro's website for more info about cold laser/structural management protocol.  http://www.pennellcc.com/

Good evening everyone - it's Thur morning for me.   Yesterday did go swimmingly - got in a nice workout in the evening.   I really wanted to run too, but legs were still feeling the effects of my bike ride on Tues.

Today I hope to get in that run and another swim.

most excellent indeed, JEN.

im the poster child for structural management/cold laser treatment.

LOL.

maybe the good Drs will start paying me to be their spokesperson.

just glad i found a non-injectable, non-invasive, non-surgical solution so i could keep doing what  i enjoy.

oh what life would be like w/out running....biking....swimming.  not something i want to contemplate anytime soon.
