I let them out not too long ago...

Perhaps they needed more time out there...
they would have frozen their little tushes off.  It is cold tonight.

mchally - 2009-12-06 9:39 PM ooh, Nibblets are online tonight!

Needed a break from helping getting the Xmas decor up.  It's mucho work.  2 Beam and Cokes later, I think wifey and I have stuff accomplished.

You mean there is more than just putting up the tree? I did mine on Sunday moring!

I put one up at my folks house sunday afternoon...right after running a half mary!  It was frick'n heavy.  I needed a hand truck to bring it in.  It is the fullest, densest tree we have ever had.

Yep.  There's the swearing, and cussing, and complaining and arguing....

There's the lights and decorations, and garland over the fireplace, lights around the bannister, and the little ceramic village.  And, with 3 boyz, there's the monitoring and watching to make sure they don't knock something off or break something if they don't hang it up right.

The run would wear you out, alright.  Trying to do anything after completing a race is not fun.

I put the Nativity up on the fireplace with some greens, but I need to secure the pieces somehow...the cat has been messing with it and knocked a lamb off...thank goodness there was a mess of stuff on the hearth to catch it.  It's not often that I am grateful for clutter.

I know a guy who was in Australia for a Christmas.  He wanted a real tree and decided to go out and find one.  He hiked out somewhere with a friend, cut down a tree and hauled it back.  By the time he got home with the tree it was toasted.    He then realized why Aussies don't cut live trees.

I guess that he wasn't in as populated an area...or maybe he wanted to cut it himself.  My family always cut our own tree until just a couple of years ago.

Morning, NIBBS!

We picked up a Xmas tree Sat. and decorated it last night.  My boyz were commenting on how the tree smelled nice, but, I couldn't smell it - my sinuses are all screwed up.  Wish I was young again.

Why am I going back to Wisconsin in the winter again?

Here, it's 47 deg F and sunny.  We're supposed to get rain tomorrow and Wednesday (ugh) and snow on Friday according to Accuweather.
