triguynewbie - 2010-04-06 5:43 PM And Happy Birthday Kat.  Is it still your birthday there or did I miss it?
Hm. Good point. It's today. Which is today here, but yesterday there. Hm.... Oh well, worst case, she ends up having TWO birthdays.

I see no problem with two birthdays.... actually had an unofficial job interview yesterday which with the train travel etc took up the majority of my day so really today Im going to have a me day I thin!
Wait... Job interview? I thought you liked your current job?

I do 0 a former boss asked me to chat with a couple of colleagues of hers about an opportunity they might have coming up so it was a casual chat in a cafe.... sounds interesting, good opportunity for me but nothing is going to move fast so Im not going to stress about it...

If anything comes of it I will have the luxury or weighing up staying at a job I have been at for 4 years where I am pretty happy and a new challenge so Im in a great position!

Im not looking... but if something falls in your lap you have to investigate!

mchally - 2010-04-06 3:09 PM So I officially have a boyfriend now.  He is already asking what I want for my birthday (may 5th).  I have no idea...I told him I just want to do something fun together.

Wow. Didn't you just sign up on those sites? Sounds like you met someone good right away!

Within two days I met an totally awesome guy on Match and now have an amazing SO from Eharmony.

I am still in touch with the fellow from Match.  He is super busy right now and we haven't talked much, but when things calm down a bit we are going to get together...a just friends/have a great conversation thing. He is a semi-famous christian rock musician, owns his own successful media business, and has the greatest sense of humor.  He also is a 36 years old super hot.  Right now he is finishing up his latest album and getting a album release concert organized.

I had a trial membership for both that are now canceled...I didn't have to pay a dime.

OK folks...I am going to have a conversation with Jonathan tonight regarding the speed in which our relationship has progressed. It has been a bit too quick for my comfort and it needs to go back a step or two.

Poor guy is fretting because I asked to meet with him tonight to chat for a bit.

I'm an idiot.  Embarassed  I keep forgetting what an amazing guy he is.  It went fine...except that I stressed him out a bit lot.  I really need to stop doing that to him.

We are filing our taxes together now...well, actually I can't submit it until I go home and get my 2008 return info.  Otherwise  it is done.   I get a $611 refund.  Yay!

Yeah, for the most part.  My husband and brother got better the fastest.  i seem to be sick the longest.  I am starting to wonder if it is related to not having a gall bladder.

Worth asking the question for future reference? It helps to learn how you are affected... after 4 or years Im still learning.... but it is good to know the situations where Im different!

You probably know all this stuff but it definatley helps me to keep a track of things like that for future reference!!!! Hope you feel better soon!

Things are going well.

I have a unique way of approaching things....something that I should probably work on...

When I decide I need to do something, have some sort of goal, I just bee line for it.  I don't take the time to figure how I am going to approach things, what the best course of action is....I just go for it and then 'trail blaze' my way through any complications that arise.

Not the best approach...especially with someone whose last relationship ended very very very badly.  He is still in the healing process despite the fact that it has been a year.

So...we had a rough day but it has given us a chance to sift through some the baggage that we are both bringing into the relationship.

Bleh. I'm dealing with "politics and drama."

I repeat: Bleh.

I wrote a letter. I think it was polite. But wordy. (Imagine that.) I think I will leave it until tomorrow, reread it in the morning, and then decide if I want to send it or not.

I must be getting old. In the past, I would have just sent it.

No, as in what Snoopy from Peanuts would blurt out - "BLEAH!".  Or, "blech" -
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=blech

I guess there's different ways, and "bleh" is one of them that I haven't seen.
