Everyone here is still asleep but me.  And I don't even consider this early.  It is looking like a beautiful day again.

Kendra-graffiti party-everyone wears a cheap white shirt and brings a sharpie. Then you just mingle throughout the night and write on each other. I won't lie...dirty things usually end up on the shirt. Haha. My shirt is about 1/3 dirty things, 1/3 about being h-core/triathlon and 1/3 somewhat illegible as people get drunker and drunker. Haha. This year was more specific because I know people in my class now. But it is a good icebreaker type of party style when a bunch of new people get together.

So the plan was to get my 50 mile ride out of the way before football today, but it was 45 degrees when I woke up.  I'm not ready to bundle up yet so the ride will be postponed till later today or tomorrow.

It is perfect running temp so I went for a run instead.  First run in awhile where I actually ran the whole thing.  Felt great!

Time to shower and head to my brother's for the Iowa game.  Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Hey all, just a quick drop in. At my mom's 24/7 now for a day or two. Just took some time off for a run and some laundry. Fun times. Happy long weekend all.

Kendra, Hope you like the weather here in the NC mountains this weekend. It is just about perfect!

Good afternoon Ghoulies!

I did my longest run ever today, they'll be several more of those in the next couple of weeks. 17.03 miles in the books. I got to my driveway and my Garmin said 16.85 and I said I'll be dammed if I'm stopping now. I did a loop around the driveway then went partway back down the hill.

My legs didn't feel too bad when I was running, they feel like they're made out of lead now. I've got the compression tights on, and I tried to take a nap, but everyone here is just too noisy.

Heading to my sisters tomorrow for a picnic. I might do a little spinning on the trainer before we head down. My husband works on Monday. I'm thinking of taking the kids out to breakfast then to the pool at the college to swim.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Nice running mojo, Gouhlies! (send some my way, please! I need to be able to run without walk breaks again!!!). Cheap drunk? Motorcycle Mama? I am so impressed with all of my fellow Gouhligans!!

This morning I went with hubby and a few other friends for a ride up Emigration Canyon. It's the canyon the mormon pioneers came down through when they first came to Utah, and Brigham Young said "This is the Place". A friend of mine has been trying to get me to go ride this canyon for over 2 years. (Seriously, Amy+hills=NO GOOD!!!!). She's moving next month so I figured I better go while I can still go with her. I DID promise her I would go with her sometime.  Anyhoo, 7.1 miles and 1300 feet of elevation gain change later, then a speedy downhill on the lovely fresh chipseal (ugh), and I can now say I DID IT!!! And I might go back some time. Laughing

Now I am off to paint my son's room. Red.  Wish me luck!

No...just drunkness...keyboard was functioning...

So so so tired. After the 30km run...and cheap drunkeness...and random wanderings...and really poor sleep...and another function tonight...I am ready for bed. Whew. So happy to be in my new bed right now!

No fights yesterday.  That only happens if we've had quite a bit to drink.  I cut myself off after 2 beers yesterday so I could drive myself back home later that afternoon.

Okay, time to get in that ride I skipped yesterday.  It's slightly warmer this morning (mid 50s).

Good morning Ghoulies!

I was going to do some yoga while I had a quiet house to myself. Since we had all the changes with the dishes for the Dishnetwork I can't figure out how to get to the DVD player anymore. Yoga will have to wait until tonight, I have a hot bath running now. The legs don't feel too bad this morning, I slept in compression tights though.

Nice job on the ride Amy!!!

I hope you have a good ride, Neal!!!

Hi ghouls.  Busy day.  Some easy workouts but other than that the apartment got a pretty good cleaning.  I'm starting to lay stuff out in my living room for next weekend right now.  7 days!  Yipes!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I'm writing from the comforts of my nice warm bed. The husband is up, he has to work today, but I don't plan on getting out of bed until after 7:00 at the earliest!

Morning all!  Just a measly little run on tap today.  I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest of the day.  Pack some and then a trip to Wal-Mart.  I'm making goody bags for my support crew and need stuff to pack inside.  6 days to go!

Hello Ghoulies! I had a nice breakfast with my kids this morning right up until the end. Some people just irritate me.

We went and swam at the college pool then. It was fun. The kids give me a tough workout, especially when there are two of them and only one of me.

Going to do some work around the house today, but not too much. Then this evening I'm going to go for a short run.

Hope you all are having a fantastic day!

If I'd have known you delivering coffee in bed was an option I'd have sent the kids down the road to grandma's and stayed in bed all day!
