I have a plan.

Gov't lady who doesn't like me doesn't like that I start work at 6:30, she doesn't want me to start before 7:00. I know, stupid, right?

I come in at 6:30 because I'm usually awake between 4 and 4:30. There is a gym on base, that was just built within the last year, that I can use for free.

I'm going to start coming here when I get up in the morning and working out before work. I can shower at the gym then come to work. I am going to try doing that next week and see how it goes. It is still too cold and dark to run in the mornings. I'll see how it goes.

A GHOULIE WITH A PLAN.

LOVE IT!

AFTERNOON GHOULIES.

waiting on my oldest to get home so that i can tell that not only is he grounded the entire weekend and into next week (this is he knows) he will spending it completing the assignments that he didnt turn in for Health (this he doesnt know)

mwahahahahaha. (evil mother laugh)

1.9 miles in the books today.  i did half on the treadmill and half on the indoor track.  the track mile felt better than the TM mile. woot!

so im 4 for 4 in March so far as far as working it out.

and im 4 for 4 for writing it down

and i would say just by the way my pants are feeling lately that im spot on with TAKING IT OFF.

YAY ME!

not sure what my plans are this evening.  i may meet a friend for dinner (im waiting on her to txt me) or i may just order in and watch a movie.

i rented two from Red Box - Inception and The Social Network.

the house will be quiet.  the boys are heading up to the highschool to see the musical with their dad.

it starts at 7:30 and im assuming they'll be home by 10ish.

quiet house.movies.take out.id say thats getting the weekend off to fine start!

before that i have a client until 5:45.

tomorrow i have a babyshower and my middle sons first LAX practice.  he is off the hook excited.  i am happy for him.  but am apprehensive too.  can we all say CONCUSSION!  yikers!

then its the Y on Sunday and then hanging out at home in the afternoon.

its all good.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Hey Ghoulies. Rain rain rain. It is GREAT. We need it so bad. I would have liked it to be during the week and not on my weekend, but I won't complain.

When you think of it today send some prayers, hugs, good ju-ju or what ever, to my friend in Fla. Her 17 year old son has already had one heart transplant when he was 7. He now needs another but was failing so they had to do surgery to put in an artificial heart while waiting for a donor. The surgery was supposed to be 6 hours, evidently it took much longer then they had to go in again to stop some bleeding. He is, I think, stable now. My friend is not only praying that her son makes it but has the awful job of waiting for someone to die that matches her sons type.

Hug those kids of yours!

Morning Ghouligans. Hope you are all off to a great start to the weekend. Sorry I haven't been around. I miss hanging out. New job and wicked commute are definitely impacting my training. I need to get my a$$ back on track. Really long hours this week, but all for good things.

Robin, so sorry about your friend's son. Definitely sending healing ju ju his way. And btw, if you haven't checked *yes* to being an organ donor on your driver's license please consider doing so next time you renew.

So, it is fairly mild here today. Will get a run in at some point. Working on getting the tax stuff organized for the accountant this morning. Bleh.

I see the Queen is back with us. YEAH! Catching up with you guys would be impossible at this point. Other than the kid's Vegas rendezvous, is there anything else I need to know?

My Friend's son is losing his battle. His parents have decided that Andrew is to weak too go on life support again so they have decided to let him pass. They are being unselfish and dont wont their baby boy to suffer anymore.

oh.oh.oh.ROBIN.i am so so sorry for your friends.

though the circumstances are different it was complete agony to watch my brother and sister law make the same decision for my nephew.  theres nothing in this entire universe as difficult as that, and YET it is by the most loving unselfish decision parents can make for their children.

know that i will be mindful of them and their son as he makes this passage especially that it would be a peaceful one for him.

My stress reducing realization:

I need to re-evaluate what is possible for the next few months...school is a killer right now. Need to buck up and get some priorities set.

Priorities:

1) Don't fail med school/pass composite exam/pass USMLE Part 1

2) Train like I don't have the reality of #1...haha...ya, right. oh reality...Re-amend to: train like you do have the reality of #1= don't stress too much if that extra few hours doesn't get thrown in every week.

Sound good?

Happy Sunday, Ghoulies.

It is rainy and windy here today. It makes me want to curl up with books and not do much of anything. However, got tons of stuff to get hopping on. Unfortunately I am supposed to run today and there is no way I am going out in that deluge. That means the dreaded dreadmill. I swear the time passes sooooo sloooowwwwwwlllllyyy on the dread mill.

Morning Robin. Raining here too. The good news is that it is washing away the mounds of snow that had accumulated. The bad news is that I'll be joining you on a boring indoor workout. Trainer for me.

Ok, this was just a quick drive-by. Off to Sports Authority to pick up some KT tape for the knees. Then the grocery store to grab a couple things I forgot yesterday. Grrrr. Trainer ride at some point today.

Oh, and I'm in the middle of an epic game of Words with Friends with my BFF's 15 year old daughter. She is trouncing me. Badly. I'm pretty sure she's cheating.
