Valid point...it's not a concentration issue as much as WHAT I am concentrating on...

How's the stuying going? I'll be doing that later, too if I can get a slow minute at work tonight. Which isn't looking good so far.

What are you studying?  It will help me to decide how to best distract you. 

I have a check ride coming up for the AF...flight phys, equipment purpose, power and parts. Then I am sitting for a certification exam soon...CFRN...Certified flight nurse. I already have my CCRN, so I'm not too concerned. Just a lot to do in a short period of time. But, I'm not bored, that's for sure!

A lot to do huh? I wouldn't know how that feels I am sure.

I like check rides.... Oh wait not sure we are talking about the same thing.... 

Heh Heh I have always heard it as a one legged man in an azz kicking contest.

And yes good rides are always subjective.

Serious sympathy ... it's really like that sometimes. Oh, and a holiday night. Any kind of holiday ...

Evening TAN.  Spent the day getting smashed by a headwind so I got put in the hurt locker big time.

Though of you today Yanti. Had that cold wind of the southern ocean to deal with today.  Was suffering until the sun came out 2/3 of the way through the ride.  If it hadn't I might have been in a bit of trouble.

Thought of you today, too! Chips and gravy! Note to self and anyone else: beef stroganoff sauce is NOT gravy. But it will do in a pinch.

Oh Yanti... I'm so disappointed.  There is an art to chips and gravy that the average person simply can't understand.  Never accept second best... hell I'll mail you gravox if I have to!

Now that's an idea. I've been buying packets of Continental gravy mix here and begging free sides of an ace red onion gravy from Claire the Brit at a nearby restaurant, but ...

Somehow it's not good enough?    You have to get it thick enough that it sticks to the chips right?

Thick enough that it sticks, but thin enough to soak in, but just a bit, so it doesn't take away the crunchiness of the outside of the chips. It really is an art! For which, I must say, I am woefully unprepared.

Chicken Kiev, Cobb Salad and a Beer.  Right now I'm trying to get my legs to stop complaining about the ride.  Not sure if I'm game to go jump in an ice bath again... but the Chicken has definitely improved my mood

Back from a weekend touring Normandy - what an amazing and humbling experience. 

And now a day off to rest before back to work & hopefully only doing ONE job from now until my contract is over!
