Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: The Things That Go Bump In The Night Team Thread BunnyB - 2007-10-05 12:20 AM Speaking of bumping things, I bumped up my mileage tonight. I added another 2 miles to my tally for a total of 4.9 miles so far this month. I was mostly walking tonight, but got in five 30-second segments of running time. Nice bumping along, BunnyB! And speaking even more of bumping things--Cat bumped us onto p. 6, and I'm bumping this thread again. We can't have that Other Newbie Team That Shall Not Be Named out-threading us. TAN Wolves--well, they're professional verbal diarrheists, and it's just as well we let them keep running off at the mouth--all the less they'll run for real. |

Add those two threads together ... it boggles the mind. Clearly, they hate their jobs. I'm bumping this thread in the night! And with that ... good night! |

(gail i know i can count them but it will push me harder by not) sunday will be a 50 mile bike but may turn it into a brick with 2-3 miles afterwards... reading through our thread shows we have a pretty kick butt team with motivation... i see victory ahead for us... |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: The Things That Go Bump In The Night Team Thread WTG on the mileage, Travis! Today is a planned day off for me, so I get to rest tonight. Perhaps this challenge inspired me, but I signed up for another 5k last night. I'm already signed up for the O'side Turkey Trot coming up on Thanksgiving Day. I decided I wanted to find another event to help keep me motivated with my training. So, I signed up last night for the Surf City USA 5k in Huntington Beach on Feb. 3, 2008. That falls in week 22 of my conservative couch to 5k plan, but if things are going well with my training, I may try to run the whole thing. If I'm not able to run it all, I should come pretty close. The way my schedule maps out, my first non-stop run will actually be the day after my birthday. What a great way to celebrate my birthday -- a 20 minute run with NO walking! Selachophobia - 2007-10-05 6:43 AM CAN O CORN or CHILLY DOG!!!! ummm yea for those that don't know these are baseball sayings for no problem or piece of cake..... i may drop them from time to time for future reference. Big baseball fan here, Travis. In fact, I'm going to be at game 4 of the ALDS between the Angels and BoSox on Monday night. If everything goes the way I hope, I'll be going to the ALCS, too. I have a ticket already for the 2nd game played in Anaheim for that series, too. I love me some baseball!! Go Angels!!! Ok, so I realize there actually aren't any cheerleaders in baseball, but I'm cheering for them nonetheless. Edited by BunnyB 2007-10-05 10:53 AM |

Expert 851 Oceanside, CA | Subject: RE: The Things That Go Bump In The Night Team Thread Good morning team. I added another mile this morning and the whole time had to hold myself back from running running. My heel is feeling so much better. But more so I got a huge incentive to get out there last night. Husband and I went to a newbie/beginner tri networking meeting last night at Hi-Tech bikes. I am now lusting after a bike. I completely fell in love with this sweet little Biachi and Husband told me he wouldn't like me very much if I got it because he's always wanted one! So, I'm now going to hound the Husband to get his old mountain bike converted over to road bike gears so I can learn to shift the gears. Woohoo and drool! Oh and we've decided to join the club so if any of you are members of the San Diego tri club we'll be seeing you around. |
