I am throwing in some dark chocolate for good measure.

I discovered trader joes concerto dark chocolate batons a few days ago...70% cacao.

it comes in a 6 pack of 1.4 oz sticks...a little bigger around than my index finger and about 8 inches long.

I have been meaning to make a pie from scratch for months now...but I keep eating all the berries.

I have all the ingredients together ready to go...I just stall when I think about the crust. I always make such a huge mess when I make pie crust.

I love baking pies. My mom taught me to make the perfect crust and now I just love to do it. Pecan pies are my specialty. I love making any fruit pie too.

I have a great GF pecan bar recipe...it is pecan pie in small pieces. We made them for my sister's wedding reception...about 40lbs worth.

I need to find a way to get coconut sorbet in larger quantities...5 bucks a pint is tooooo expensive. so is $4.

OK, one of my many assignments is to do profiles on three pests of my choice...number one is the aphid...because they are everywhere.

cool thing here is that these guys are going down...see the tan round guys? The are aphids too-they are just skeletons of their former selves. They have been parasitized by a aphidiid wasp...it laid an egg inside it, which became a larvae who ate the aphid alive from the inside...the larvae then pupates and bores it's way out of the aphid's exoskeleton as an adult...then goes forth and parasitizes hundreds of aphids every day.

Yep, those aphids are all goners.
