Cooler heads have prevailed - he is still going to answer some questions but I am giving him the weekend to make his final decision. Ya, there is something there for sure that ya'll need to find out about.

The wife told him he was going to practice tonight and he literally freaked out and said how much he hated it. He showed some passion about hating it so we are letting him chill out tonight and see what he thinks come Monday.

Aww..that's sucky.

I feel kind of bad about bragging about my last day of work and all, when you have to work on the weekend...I have to pack all my stuff up...that's kind of like work...

I'll probably go read eventually...I've been really slow at getting through this book this week. Apparently it isn't that good, or I would have been done it by now. That is the marker of a good book: the time it takes me to finish.

Ok. I will feel less bad then. I am basking in the glory of work being over. (Well...until I have to meet with my supervisor in a few weeks and prepare for this national conference thing in Edmonton...so two weeks of basking in the glory of work being over.)

Morning Ghoulies.

Had a really nice MT bike ride in last night. Single track at the Biltmore Estate. We saw NO ONE else on the trails. It was like owning the place. We had to wait out a thunderstorm. Then when the rainbow came out over the farm and winery. RIDE.
Then dinner with great friends in a wonderful Indian restaurant in Asheville. We chipped the mud off and changed clothes and didn't get too close to people and no one seemed to stare. Asheville is a good place to blend when you have just been on a trail ride. There is everyone from Rastas, to Debutants, to Rednecks all hanging together. (Maybe not liking one another but hanging all the same).

Guess what?!? I woke up at 430 because some ladies were talking about home renos outside....ahh!!! So I tried to get back to sleep for a half and hour, gave up and resorted to listening to music until I felt it was a more acceptable time on a Saturday morning to get out of bed.
