Somehow it seems that the only time my boss ever comes to talk to me is when i'm either eating lunch (inevitably it's right after i've taken a bite out of something like a carrot) or when i'm using my inhaler. And then he freaks out because i'm obviously dying. And i have to hold my breath, so i can't talk right away, and... It's awesome.

Yes...my favorite is when well-meaning people are sort of panicking and asking a bunch of questions and I'm holding my breath. Awe...some. =) More nerd-dom.

So funny... Then you're trying to do the mime thing... trying to get across the "just give me a minute. i'll talk then..." and they never seem to get it.

Haha...yep. =) And then I feel bad b/c THEY feel bad and they're worried and if I stop holding my breath to TELL them I'm fine then I'll have to use ANOTHER shot of inhaler and then I'll be all wired etc. Haha...it's funny really. Just not when it's happening.

heh, yeah. You're all focused on actually being able to breathe again, and they're focused on how clearly you're dying, and now you aren't talking andandand. Good times...

Do you just use one hit of your rescue? i normally need two...

So, remember when I put the full page ad in the volleyball program? Well they just showed up with one to show us and thank us.

They left and my boss said, "Holy Hell! How much did that cost us?"

hahaha, I don't know... but it's nice.

HAHAHAHHAHA! I can't believe you don't know how much it cost. And if they came to personally thank you...HAHAHAHA! =) Funny.

That's what i'm thinking. i can't wait to hear how much that cost...

Good morning--uh, afternoon--uh, blessings wherever you are, TANers!

WORD on the inhalers. Probably the only plus (well, okay, being able to breathe) is that loopy slightly excited giggly feeling.

That could just be me, breathing, too.

Wha' happened?

Don't leave us hanging ... you set it up, we're swinging (and with an opening like "something very scary happened yesterday", someone's could pull a gut punch ...)

But... I've met HER Dad, man. EEEEP!

This....is a cute story. =)

Thanks.

That is heartwarming. Yet really weird. I thought meeting S.O. parental units got less weird as one gets older ... guess not.

It's weird no matter what.  In my case, my wife's father is a Baptist preacher.  Talk about weird...

Meeting the parents is the worst. I feel like I might as well be holding a sign that says "I'm boinking (or trying to) your daughter"

So far I have a good track record with parents.. but it's still rough.

I actually got caught doing that.  Needless to say I wasn't giving her rides to school anymore after that.
