Good morning, A-Team (last time saying that - snif! snif!)Cry,

I'm off to the Y at lunchtime for a swim and a spin.  Not sure where that will put me vs. goals.  I hate not having access to the spreadsheet here at work.  I think I'm well above my goals on bike, run and posting, but I'll fall a little short on swimming.

HAPPY FRIDAY! Anyone have any fun/exciting weekend plans?  We've got softball and soccer games tonight and tomorrow.  I'm doing a long bike ride tomorrow morning.  Sunday, we're taking the kids to a Wilmington Blue Rocks game (minor league baseball team) and then riding our bikes along the Wilmington waterfront.  They're calling for 90 degrees and sunny both Saturday and Sunday... WOOT!Laughing

Hey bill if you get your swim/spin in today it will put you at 62.5% for the swim and 100% for the bike. you are 100% for run and 110% for posting!!Laughing Nice work this month!

Spending the rest of the day with my mom! Have a great Friday A-Team! See you next month..suppose I should go sign up hugh?

Hi A-Team!

I got a good bike trainer session in last night that put me to about 68% of my goal.  Unfortunately I slept in this morning so I didn't get my swim in... But I can do that after work which will put me at 100% of my swim goal.  That will put me at about 93% of my goals for the month, falling short on the bike goal once again.  But if I'm feeling good after my swim, I'll hop on the trainer again tonight while watching movies with friends, and *maybe* I can hit 100%.

Tomorrow is the first Saturday since mid-December that I don't have a scheduled long run in the morning (besides a couple of canceled runs in January due to below-freezing temps)!  It feels weird not to have something scheduled in - I might end up going yoga or something to keep me from getting restless.

Sorry that I've been MIA the last 2 days...  I've had soccer games, sick kids and a crazy time at work.  I will be able to get some bike and run in today (I NEED to run to go get my car from the shop, LOL).  Don't know if I'll make 100% now on those but it should be close.

Hmmm..  Girl Scout "beach party" tonight, with some late night trainer riding later.  Tomorrow we have a soccer game.  I'd like to actually get an outside ride in too!  Our big plan is to re-seal our driveway...  Fun stuff!

Good morning peeps!  Last day of the month and it looks like a rest day for me.

Oh God, 24 hours of MTBing tomorrow.  What was I thinking?  I think I have a pretty solid game plan, but everyone knows how that goes!  I need to get out and start getting all my junk together.  Procrastination strikes once again!

Had about an inch of snow this morning but its already melting. High tomorrow in the mid 40's. The storm is supposed to clear out Sunday. My wife and I are trying to figure out what we are going to do about our family party tomorrow. Picnic in the park followed by bowling. Did you know you can rent the entire bowling alley? So the bowling part is still a go but now we have to figure out where we are going to have the picnic lunch. Who would have thought when we put this on the calendar back in January that we would have snow the first weekend in May.

Got in a swim, some strength training and time on the trainer last night. I'm starting to feel the double and triple workouts I'm doing to try to catch up on my goals. Swimming is where it is affecting me the most. One more day then I'll take it easy with just a run on Saturday and nothing on Sunday.

Haven't even thought about my goals for May yet. No major races, just the Race for the Cure on the 10th. Maybe a sprint tri if I can find a local one that will fit into the schedule. Weekends are pretty busy in May. Also need to focus more on the running so I will be ready for the relay in June. Anyone had any ideas for a challenge for May? I'll really miss it if we don't have one.

wgraves7582 - 2010-04-30 6:13 AM Morning A Team - went to 105% on running today.  No ride - I was tired so instead of getting up at 4:00am I bailed.  Maybe tonight but I doubt it - will see how it plays out!!!

As Jay said - considering I missed out on Iowa I am happy with my bike mileage and ended up 99% so hey that is cool!

Great job this month everyone

I think you did a great job on your goals this month Bill. Especially since you didn't get your race in. You still came pretty close on that goal too.

Just looking at the spreadsheet. We are close on goals 1 & 2 but 3 & 4 are another story. There are two things I take as a plus for our team. 1-We haven't had about a third of our team drop out. We stuck with it to the very end.  2-Most of us have something for all four goals where only four on the other team have all four goals.
I'm giving one last push tonight to get as close to my goals as possible. Lets get out there and do our best. We have one last day. Lets go for it!
