Veteran 245 Eden Prairie, MN | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) I got a spin class in this morning to finish off my bike goal. I'm going to get in a weight session later today. That should put my numbers up to 105%. I'd try to get a swim in tonight, but my DS has football practice, so I don't think it will happen. If it wasn't for this challenge and this team, my workout numbers would have been pretty small this last month. I'm going to go sign up for the October challenge. Scot |

Expert 671 | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) Team: I really let you down by not even coming close to completing my goals. On the positive side I learned two things about myself. 1) Travel for work wrecks all the best laid (yes, I said laid) plans. As much as I love being wet, getting T.I.T.S. and running away from the chaos, travel puts me in a dark place where I forget this true love. 2) If I haven't paid for a race--training does not happen. I guess that is what you call a true off-season. This was my first challenge and I did not do very well. So what should I do? I am getting back on the horse and trying again. This time I have a marathon scheduled. Training is a must and money is on the line (I can't have a DNS or DNF if I have paid for something). I start my Spring (Fall) training this week and my marathon plan in November. Boston qualifying (sub 3:10:59) is the goal so if I don't train I won't ever reach that. My marathon PR is 3:19:23 so I've got to find nine minutes somewhere. Halloween Run challenge--here I come. Thanks team--you guys were great and I hope to see you in the next challenge where I exceed my goals! |

Pro 4528 Norwalk, Connecticut | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) No wucken furries Cameron, other than my swimming, my training also was limited due to various injuries, illnesses and the late work schedule i keep somtimes paired with shortening daylight time......hmmmmm can i think of any other excuses??? But on a serious note, i am in Martha's Vineyard next week for my 1 year Anny and I start my Oly training plan the week i get back. I loved being part of this team and have made some friends along the way......oh and have a couple of BT crush's also, teeheehee. Hopefully the Melons will get together again and rock another challenge!!! |

Those of us who didn't do as well will have a chance to shine and those who are reveling in being 8 years old can continue and we can all enjoy being on top as much as possible. Wee ha, Horny Melons!!! |

I also encouraged my peers to participate in dirty activities. I was happy to share my dirty ways with others. I am going to get some pics before I make my self presentable again.

I usually take what I plan on doing and then adjust it some for 'real life' the important thing is that you had fun! |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) Dear September Challenge Participants, The September Challenge flight is about to land. It's time to close your snack trays and restore your seat to an upright position. Please be sure the Google spreadsheets are completely updated by midnight tomorrow (Wed Oct 1st) with your all your workout information. You worked hard this month - be sure to get credit for it! On Thursday, I'll pull the team totals from all the spreadsheets, and announce the WINNER of the challenge. I'll also post the WINNER of the "Secondary Challenge" (ie: the Post Count Challenge). (After all, socializing is almost as important as working out. At least, it is for some of us...) We thank you for flying the September Four-Is-More Challenge. - Dee Edited by D001 2008-09-30 7:12 PM |

Elite 2443 Athens, Georgia | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) I love you Melons finished goals or not. Life always gets in the way of training and for me a challenge was great to keep me motivated and push me to train when I normally would not have. I had fun with you guys this month and hope we can reunite and win another challenge together. Which reminds me, I need to check up on that October run challenge. |

Master 1404 Saratoga Springs, Utah | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) Well Melons, I finally got it done today and met all my goals. I would not have done as much training if it were not for this challenge cause there were days I would have bagged it. Weather you met your stated goals or not it really does not matter since the main thing in my opinion is just to have fun and meet some other BTer's. I do not post often but read a lot on here for laughs and to learn from others. Looks to me that everyone did a great job! |

Champion 7931 Sequim, Washington | Subject: RE: Team Horny Melons (Four-Is-More Challenge) A Melissa update: I swam, ran, biked and did some strength training today. It turns out that I could have swam for an additional hour and finished off my goal-but I didn't realize there was a lap swim right after masters. If Dee allows 2 ab workouts in one day(5am, 5pm) my overall standing will be 101.9% I have wonderful ache throughout most of my muscles-I know that they are rebuilding. My arms and legs are noticeably more toned than they were 2 weeks ago. It's pretty crazy-I have lost 25lbs since December, although part of that was from getting of a med that caused weight gain. I am so excited that I got hooked on BT-I would have stopped training and not done the last Tri if I wasn't spending time online with other BTs. Hooray!!!! Edited by mchally 2008-10-01 12:16 AM |

I know-it is a shame really, but I like being spending time outside getting grubby and muddy. Once, when I was younger(pre teen) I went to the mud flats with some friends and we wallowed for hours...and reeked of decaying sediment-I had to throw out the clothes. We were quite a sight-plastered in muck from head to toe. It was an incredible sensory experience-think two+ feet of silty mud-the kind that oozes between your toes. |
