New user 61 | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts - l'acte 2 End of the month (almost) check in... school has been killing me lately, so not much time to do much other than work, snowboard, and run. 4 days left in the month including today, and I need 2:20 of running time. That's going to mean one 20 minute day and 3 40 minute days. I'm planning on 40 tonight, 20 tomorrow, then 40 the last 2 days. That should leave me at 100% on the last day of the month. |

I'm doing it because it will keep me moving during my unstructured training months. Even if you just walk or stretch 30 minutes a day, it counts. I'm so looking forward to being able to just do whichever activities I feel like for a couple months. hmmmm, I have to go back and look at the challenge rules - so how do you set your goals? You don't, you just have to commit to the challenge. It requires 30 minutes of activity 5 days a week. So you can decide to do whatever activity seems right, which is why I like it so much. If I feel like running, I can run. If I feel like swimming, I can swim. Or if I just want to stretch and do some strength training, that would count too. It seems like less pressure, plus a nice incentive to get out and keep active 5 days a week. Join Phil and I are going to be teammates, you should have Travis put you with us! Yeah! Come join us! |
