I'm lucky becaus eI'll be able to stick basically to my normal schedule. Thursday we will be driving to Arizona so I will get my 3 miler and ST in before we go. Friday is my rest day and also happens to be the day we're doing our big dinner which will work nicely. Saturday is an easy 3 miler and Sunday I have a steady 7 miler I plan on doing before we head out back to CA.

I think it's a good plan, now I just need to execute it. Wish me luck!

One Thanksgiving about 5 or 6 years ago nobody brought a pumpkin pie.  I think all the pie makers assumed someone else was going to make it.  Needless to say my sister and I were devastated.

I think we complained enough though because next year there was at least 5 pumpkin pies.  I had a whole one to myself

The same thing happened after we ran out of stuffing one year.  Now my mom makes enough to feed a small village.

That's funny stuff. My brother always checks with me and our mom to make sure that one of us will have a pumpking pie there.

Pumpkin pie is worth fighting for.
Ann, I'll help you fight for the bacon but you can have it.
I am going to a friends house this evening to have pizza baked in their 100 year old outdoor brick oven. too cool.

Oh ya, holdiday plans: I am off from Wendnesday through Monday. I am doing chores. No family in so we are going to a restaraunt for TDay dinner (they better have pumkin pie!!!!). Maybe some canoeing if the weather is nice.

sorry i was MIA.

i ran out to do my Thanksgiving shopping after i read the article about the pumpkin shortage.

first waffles, NOW pumpkins.  WHAT is the world coming to????

i tell you one thing...there was no way in heck were gonna have Thankgiving dinner at my house w/out pumpkin pie.

i got the pumpkin pie stuff and the rest of the stuff too while i was there...now im all set.  just need to get the turkey. 

no articles on turkey shortages right??!!!?


i was just about to leave the store and i thought, i better get stuff to make mashed taters.

my sister in law makes the best scalloped potatoes, and i love sweet potato casserole so im making that (i dont think anyone eats it but me and my DH and kids)

that should be enough potatoes, but i thought, somebody will say something about there not being mashed taters, so i thought, i best buy the stuff and make em.



then ive been meaning to watch the movie THE READER.

i did.

and now im depressed as all get out.

but another uber hottie, i just love love love.

We have a similar tradition, except its a movie at noon on Thanksgiving since our meal is always at night.

And lately it hasn't necessarily been a "holiday" movie, just whatever sounds good at the time.

Sounds like a plan.

I'll heading to my parents place on Wednesday and staying until Saturday, maybe Sunday.  I'm not sure what to do about workouts.  No pool access.  Not taking the bike and trainer with.  I can't run.  So I'll probably just eat and get fat.  Maybe some yoga and ST.  My mom, dad, and sister have been doing P90x again and could do a few workouts with them.  That may depend on what the doc says about my hip though.
