Any word from work on your hours? I sent an email this morning to my boss's boss asking, he's the one I had the meeting with. I told him there was absolutely nothing last week, like every other week, that required my attention after 2:30. Ahhh - she played that card - what if something happens? Well isn't that what tomorrow is for. We should all be there 24/7 then right? My job isn't one of those that requires 24/7 attention though. I'm not on call either, even though I came in on a Saturday a few weeks ago, something that will NEVER happen again by the way. Yes little do they understand the small things we do that never get discussed. Government world is a whole different ball game anyways! How are you healing up? You going to be able to ride? I'm much better than I was on Friday, but still not 100%. I used a pull buoy for most of my swim yesterday because I kept having a twinge in my knee while kicking. I'm swimming today, then trying to run again tomorrow. |

I'm going to my sister's, south of DC on Friday after work and babysitting for her so her and her husband can go out for an evening. Saturday morning I'm going to go cheer my 10 year old nephew and my BIL in a 5k. After that I am either going to Bethesda to the Multisport Expo and then I'll get my bike, or I'll just skip the expo and go get my bike. I haven't decided yet. I was going to post the picture from the website, but that bike is white and mine is black. She is HOT! I'll post pics over the weekend. I'm hoping the weather is decent so I can get out. I have a set of Continental GPS 400 tires I got late last year. I have a few miles on them, but I took them off of my roadie when I put it on the trainer. I'm thinking about putting them on the Felt since she's black and red. I'm very indecisive this morning. |

Can you believe I even left her in the garage yesterday and took my mtn bike out for a spin. There was a reason for my madness - I wanted to ride dirt but it was too soft still. You should have seen some of the hills I did on that thing - ouch!!! Pre-rode part of the TransWesternNewYork course also just to see how bad the one hill was going to be that I have never ridden before - fun times!!! I shall return - time to go catch up! Are you guys supposed to get rain this week? They are calling for heavy rains and thunder storms here today. Showers again tomorrow, and only in the 50's this week. More rain won't help your soft dirt problem. |
