Artemis - 2008-08-26 11:57 AM Did you miss me? We lost power for a few minutes, so we had to finish the ice cream I made yesterday.

You MAKE ice cream? Is it hard to do?

Oh and Hi Jen!

Yes. I make ice cream. It is not that hard and it tastes so good.

oh - that sounds like fun! how does it work?

I have a Kitchenaid mixer (big stand mixer) that has an ice cream maker attachment.  Basically it's a bucket you stick in the freezer overnight.  Then, make the liquid and cool it for a few hours, and then you put it in the bucket and use the paddle with the mixer for about 45 minutes and voila!  ice cream.

I never realized there was an icecream attachment for the kitchenaid. I might have to look into that.

Well, we can always cool it off a bit. Got a fire hose? I'll hook it up to a hydrant for you....

Do you really think getting everyone wet is the solution?

I may have crossed the line...

Never hurt, I suppose. Kendra, what do you think?
Must remember that our Cat is very fond of water!
You know... I've heard that. How often are you soaking wet these days, Cat? (From the pool, of course) Minds out of the gutter, Nibbies!

From the pool? Its been a LONG time...

I might need an incentive to swim over the challenge... can you offer anything?

Well, if you're a good girl, maybe I'll tell you a bedtime story...
