I had a hard time finding a decent internet connection today. My ear was much better, another day of rest seems to have helped a bit! Now if only it would warm up.

He didn't have to. He invited me to join him and some coworkers for a going away party for one of them so the tab was on Bloomberg. Sneaky, right? How are you? Nice to have the family all together?

That's great Well enjoy them. Maybe some of that spirit will rub off on me!

I'm also quite the beer swiller connoisseur if you ever want recommendations My local is a beer bar. Nothing but hard core beer geeks hang out there!

So, I woke up early this morning without the use of my alarm.  And i was thinking I ought to head over to the pool for a bonus workout, but felt hungry, so decided to get some breakfast.  Then I look at my training plan - ooops, I did have a swim workout scheduled for today.  Oh well.   I'm working from home today, so maybe I'll head over during my lunch hour.  Would really like to get on the bike though.  It is supposed to be a balmy 30ish today.

How's everyone else's day shaping up?

I hear you about the "spirit" thing...I seem to be in the same boat.  I feel like this year, the holidays are about transition for me.  Wasn't really meant to be one of the most festive ones, just a nice peaceful one with good friends and family.  But on the other hand, I look at what's on my horizon and I'm amazed.  Ironman training starts in January.  Right now, I'm lining up everything, healing old injuries, getting rid of things that are simply clutter, just getting settled and ready for my long journey ahead.  And I know by end of July, I'll be in such a different place.  A great place.  I am so looking forward to it!!!

Well, two days before Christmas and all through the house......I'm wrapping presents, headed to the kids school, running (Bryan needs to go to work.  He won't let me run outside.  Something about icy roads still.....) at the indoor track, minimal shopping (I hope), my sister's birthday dinner (she's 32 today!)  and I think that is all.  Feeling a bit more holidayish......

Good to know Kristin!  Need a beer to compliment some prime rib.  What ya got for me?

Just wanted to say Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy what ever else you might celebrate   I have a TON to do today so I won't be around, and I'm thinking things are going to be crazy until after christmas.  So everyone have a great/restfull/peaceful/family fun filled holiday.   Can't wait to get all the details from ya after.
