There is a documentary by Andrew Jennings for BBC Panorama that was filmed 4 years ago that basically called it all out. Here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6N6rBNODE0 Everyone knows they are a bunch of crooks...not sure putting Platini in there is a better option though!

That is brilliant. Did you watch all 3 of the vids that were in the middle of the article? He said in the 1st that he was going to be doing it for 6 months, but I only see 3. Very well done little vlog's.

He's been so arrogant and defiant, it makes me wonder what pressure to resign exists behind the scene. And very good article above! It's great to see the popularity of the MLS, and the game in general, on the rise. Go Sounders! |

That and the ones they arrested must be rolling over on him big time. Thought this was a good one too. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-to-break-fifa/ And finally, yes the Sounders are burning up their 1/2 of the table. |

Elite 3091 Spokane, WA | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? So, any interest in the World Cup? I usually don't watch Women's football, but I'll check out the WC when I can. Unfortunately I'll miss the first half of the US game as it starts at 4:30 our time. ETA: And probably should mention the CL final. Barcelona are just too stacked with talent. I'd have to think they're the best team in the world right now-- which I guess you could say about the CL winner. Edited by zed707 2015-06-08 12:19 PM |

Going to try to watch as much as I can but I'll be at the pool swimming when it starts. I can still remember watching the '99 final. We were over an hour late to a party because of that match. It was awesome. They are not yet the world's best but they will be after this fall if they make it past the others in the World Club Cup in Japan. The only other teams to qualify are Club America from Mexico and Auckland City in Australia. I have a hard time seeing any other team beating them if they have the exact same lineup. |

Expert 1207 Parker, Co | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? You have to lower your expectations if you watch the WWC.....slower,ponderous and predictable...add in the persistent errors and its tough to watch. My daughter plays so we do watch but its painful - with the amount of girls playing in the US this should be a walk in the park for the WNT....but they make it harder than it should be I'd like to see them win for Abby Wambach.
CL - the early goal was a great start, Buffon kept Juve from being 3-0 down a half. I think Barca did well to drop Suarez to cover Pirlo in the first half but they got lazy and left him too much room in the second. That bit them hard with the equalizer. Until the second Barca goal it looked like Juve would go on to win but that changed with the Messi shot and Suarez rebound. Barca were deserved winners and it was a great final To be the best consistently they need a more solid back four....the makeshift one they have now isnt going to be good enough - hopefully they invest in the off season and if they do they may repeat. I'm also glad Real won NOTHING! CR7 can top up his tan with the knowledge he isnt the best player n the world and is one year older with no more trophies....and that makes me happy! |

Nice to see the WNT pull off a comfortable win. I caught most of the second half. The commentators even mentioned each side freely giving up possession. Seems like the norm in the women's game from the little I've seen of it. The CR7 comment made me laugh. Not a fan. Edited by zed707 2015-06-08 10:47 PM |

Expert 1207 Parker, Co | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? Slow, ponderous and inconsistent...wait, I just said that right? Rapinoe thinks shes the female Messi but really shes the female CR7....does no running, holds the ball too long but pops up and scores...usually its without the goals..cant stand watching her on the field. Whoever the coach is should be all over them...spped up the play, get the ball moving - the passes were so slow and predictable...if the Matilda's werent so poor they would have been in trouble. Onto my next rant - the commentators! - Cat Deeley i think her name was....color commentator, Captain Obvious - if they pass to open players they would keep the ball more, no sh@t sherlock! - plus other mundane comments....i know they want to keep it in the gender but have someone with a clue - at least DIcicco sounds like he knows what hes talking about....and then the Studio crew - i applaud the effort to look like Fox News - Lallas must think hes died and gone to heaven but they still need to know what they are talking about!! Its going to be a long 3 weeks! |

Still here While I didn't get to watch it my phone almost fell of my desk vibrating with all of the push alerts coming through. I was able to watch the highlights and it was something else. Stunning, just stunning. What a night in Amfield. |
