Okee dokee Vixens, I'm past 100%

I really didn't intend to have that happen so soon, I had to adjust my training schedule to line up with the January race date, so I tapered at the right time.  At the time I set my goal, I was guessing

so, what that means is a recovery week was removed and a longer run week was bumped from Jan to Dec -

So, now it looks like I sandbagged - is it too late in the game to up my goal?

Evening Vixens-

Another car trip day for me.  2 hours each way to visit my Dad.  We had a nice visit and lunch.  Even ran into one of my bros.  I have 4 younger bros and even though they are only 2 hours away I have not seen them in a year or so.  Doesn't seem to happen in when I am in town with them.  So much for my family holiday spirit! Hoping to get a swim in tonight then I need to wrap gifts.  We are opening prezzies tomorrow since my hub & older daughter leave for Nepal at 5 AM Christmas morning (another 3 hours in the car for me driving them to Logan-and I am not a car person generally).  It is a very odd Christmas this year.  May end up joining our Jewish friends for movies and chinese food.  We'll see.  Hope everyone is having some fun!

Nice. You deserve it for braving the mall two days before Christmas!  Yikes!  I have given up, I refuse to do any more shopping!  Rum on tap for me tonight. And a lot of it!  I had to get together with my parents tonight.  Dysfunctional is the uderstatement of the year!  I need to move thousands of miles away again!

Nice. You deserve it for braving the mall two days before Christmas!  Yikes!  I have given up, I refuse to do any more shopping!  Rum on tap for me tonight. oh, I can so relate - there are a many a few things I don't miss about living close to family

what are you mixing with the rum - or are you drinking it straight? - lol!

It does indeed! My brother and I braved the carp weather to hit up the local wine shop. He's quite the wine drinker so it was fun to shop with him.

My sister, on the other hand, is not having a great night. She's stuck in Cleveland and was told she couldn't get a flight until Thursday. Looks like she's flying to a different town in Indiana tomorrow morning and then driving... assuming that can even happen. I feel really sorry for her.

Um, I drink my Maker's Mark with nothing in it but ice. Yum!

Cleavland was actually the first city I ever got snowed in and had to stay overnight - can't say it was great :/
