in to work early this a.m. ... but of course won't get out early.

will definitely do some trigger point therapy tonight. Not sure what else I can do. I moved out last night. But I am determined to keep my peachy month. I might experiment with a pilates DVD, or maybe do the yoga sun salutation.

This weekend it is supposed to be warm - 50s or 60s. I *am* going for a bike ride.

Is there a "move in" coming soon?  You aren't sleeping in your car, are you?

Hey Peeps. Peach is earned! I did my 10 miles early this morning. Did I mention I had to do it on the treadmill? Yep, this is my second tready 10-miler this winter. I have to say, it wasn't so awful this time. My legs felt good despite the late double workout last night. I doubt they'll feel good later!

Ugh.  Treadmills scare me.  I can't imagine 10 miles on one.

I just ordered some compression wear yesterday.  Do you think it really helps?

I did 10 miles on a treadmill once.  Never again though.

I swore off treadmills this year.  Come to think of it that might be one new year's resolution that actually sticks

Jeans every day here too, but that's mainly because I am always splashing chemicals on myself.  No sense burning holes in the nice stuff.

Yes! It was a new policy as of last month I think, I was thrilled when I found out. I only wear jeans and dresses, never pants, so it spared me from having to buy new clothes for work.

I love it. I won't engage in all the arguments that go on here about it because I don't understand why some people find it necessary to scrutinize the choices other triathletes make whether it be food, training gadgets or gear. I have major lower leg issues and after an 8-week running hiatus due to a broken shoulder during marathon training, I bought the calf sleeves for running and the recovery socks for before/after. I started running and in 10 days did a half mary and the pain was minimal. I think I suffer from a lot of swelling and that's why compression works for me.

I bought the recovery tights before the NYC Marathon and I LOVE them. I sleep in them before and after big workouts or races and as is the case today, I'll wear them all day to keep the swelling down from my long run.

Hope it works for you, I absolutely love it.

I can't do jeans, but there are many days when I wear yoga pants with a dressy sweater or jacket and nobody knows but me.  I like to be comfortable.

Wednesday toppage!

I wish I didn't have to but it's not safe for me to be out running in the dark alone in my neighborhood. It's a safe hood, but it's absolutely desolate and there are some projects a few blocks away so I can't safely run to the park, not that the park would be safe at 6am either. So the treadmill was my only choice. When it's lighter in the summer I may be able to run in the morning outside. God I hope.

it's a good thing i've only had 1/2 bottle serving of wine so far tonight

Note to new members - 1 SERVING = 1 BOTTLE, in K's world.  It's a new non-English and non-Metric measuring system.
