kns57 - 2008-06-20 9:22 PM Just got a call from one of my instructors for my class next weekend. The one where I get to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I AM CRAZY! I'm going to kill myself on that thing.

Sounds exciting!!

I like having my hair highlighted, but I never keep up with it so it looks funny when I grow it out.  It's just not worth it.

Well my hair is half gray now, so it is not so noticable as it grows out. At least in the front where I can see it.

I'm a whole new woman this weekend. Yesterday I got my hair cut and highlighted. I'm pretty blonde right now.

New summer hair-do, yay!

Yeah, and I love it. I actually walked out happy with the hair. Usually I walk out wondering what the Heck I did.

I have dark brown hair so the blond growing out is definitely noticeable.

I hate to post and run, but I've got to get to bed. Hubby and I will be heading down to Greenwood at 6:30am for the Bee Buzzin' Metric Century. He will be in the front group averaging about 25 mph, while I will be somewhere hopefully averaging 20 mph. Y'all have a good night!

I was white blonde as a baby, then it became more honey blonde, then reddish blonde and eventually brown. Now it is a combination of steel and light gray. So, I enjoy the blonde highlights, it makes me feel real young again. I've gotten lots of positive comments on it yesterday and today.

Maybe they can put a rinse through or something that enhances yuor natural colour for something different?

Or maybe use highlights closer to your natural shade so that it grows out more 'naturally'?

Morning Nibbs!  I woke up at 6:30 so I could make it to the pre-ride for the tri.  I was way too dizzy to actually ride my bike.  I went back to bed and just woke up.  I'll ride by myself later today.

I have to confess, I am a total novice about the Tour deFrance - I watched a bit of it last year, but I honestly have no idea about how it all works - I will watch and learn!

Thats ok Beth - we can all help you get obsessed about it

Actually I found a lot of people got into it with the challenge because i assigned teams according to actual teams and provided some rider information etc

What this meant was people who didnt know about the Tour all of a sudden had a team and riders to support/watch based on their team in the challenge... it was really exciting watching people get into the sport through that!

Oh!!!  Can I request to be on team SlipStream???  Anybody else read about them in Outside this month???

HI Nibbs...

Sorry I haven't been around too much lately... between not having any workouts to log - *&% hip; busy at work, constantly revisiting local tri sites pondering which races to do for the rest of the sumeer, and well, LIFE   There just hasn't been much time to devote here.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend of races, rides, runs, and rambling

Now I'm off to go teach one of those wonderful Red Cross Babysitting classes... yeah
