Thats is too funny. Sleep talking about the howling cats.. good stuff.

Nicole83 - 2009-06-04 9:32 AM Oh no, it was totally funny.

And yes, I woke him up and yelled at him every time he did it.

The first time he babbled about how the "Cats in the yard are howling again"

and the second time he said, "if you would stop shaving for a minute I would TELLL YOUUUU"

It was interesting.  He has no recollection of any of it.

The funny part is that I am TOTALLY not a cuddler at all.  I don't really like being touched, and can't sleep if I'm being touched.  He is.  It's been a long standing battle in our relationship.  Lol.

KelliD - 2009-06-04 10:24 AM You might not be at this point yet, and maybe I can see it this way bc I wasn't getting rolled over last night, but it is just a little bit funny   Did you wake him up to yell at him?

Don't get me wrong, cuddling is nice and all, but when it's time to sleep you go to your side, I'll stay on my side.  I like my space when I sleep!

Nicole83 - 2009-06-04 10:03 AM I am SO crabby this morning.

I literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed because my husband was so restless last night that he kept rolling over on freaking top of me and trying to kill me in my sleep.  Half way thru the night I just got out of bed and went and slept on his side.

Jerk.

Somebody please get me some caffine and happy thoughts.

LMAO!!!  I'm totally a sleep talker!!  For me it's usually right when I'm falling asleep.  I've said some pretty funny $hit.  I remember once I had just started dating this guy, he was staying over, we were just falling asleep, or at least I was, and I started having a dream about kings & princes.  I also dream about crazy $hit too!  I must have started mumbling, so he asked what I was saying.  And I blurt out, "Did you know you're a monarch?"  That woke me up, I realized that I said and was mortified for about 5 seconds.

Another classic was when I said "the monkeys are unloading the bananas from the truck".

Howling cats, monkeys unloading bananas, dry humping butts....and monarchs!  Who needs drugs when you have dreams like those!... except the dry humping thing.  Nicole you might wanna get that checked!  I think they make an ointment or cream or something for that...

Lottery results for the NYC Marathon came out today.  I feel like entered to long ago that I sort of forgot about it.  No dice for me this year   But, I suspected this would be the case.  Getting in is a total shot in the dark.  I'm a little bummed, but I'll try again next year...not the the NYC Marathon is going anywhere.  I've already started thinking of some backup plans.  I'd love to do Chicago, but I have a feeling it's too close to Timberman to get in the training I'd like.  My main Plan B involves another little 70.3 SBR down

Sounds like the Houston Marathon would be puurrrrfect!  Rated as the best Winter Marathon in the country!  It's Jan 19, 2010... Registration opens July 19, 2009... $90 I think.   Give ya a chance to run the 26.2, pretty flat fast course, good temps and a break from the cold of New York...

Maybe BvD is doing it again... and y'all could crush it together!  Look at me, lil' marathon match maker! DORK!!!

I have found reasons for Todd and Kelli to come to H-Town... now how do I get the Intimidator to make the trip west... Oh, the tri club I belong to has a Beerathlon (not sure the date).... Nicole ~ you have had some great training for this ~ whatcha think?

I'm pretty sure the Disney Marathon in Orlando is in January as well and is a superflat fast course with great weather.

And let's face it, I'm way more fun than the TX peeps.

I'm like 4 people all in one anyway...

Haha, yes.

But you guys already live together, don't you?

The BEST story EVER... (please god if any of you ever meet my husband do NOT tell him I posted this on a public internet forum...)

Husband used to be a really awesome martial artist as a kid.  Won state tournaments and had a national sponsorship and such.

So, very early on in our relationship- before we were living together and when he was just spending the night occasionally we watched the move "House of Flying Daggers."  Which, in case you're not familiar, is this neat martial artsy film.

We ended up falling asleep together that night in bed.

So middle of the night, I was sleeping facing him and he had his back to me.  Out of nowhere he rolls over to face me, firmly kicks me in the shins, punches me in the stomach and growls "I'm a kung fu kitty."

And yes people, he has NO memory of it ever having happened.

I honestly think that's one of my favorite stories ever.
