Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February!!! kcarroll - 2010-02-16 5:25 PM I want one too! I am thinking orange, just because my swimsuit has orange and red flames on a black background. But then again, I like Ann's idea of bright for OWS. So, with that I leave it up to you. Surprise me! ironannekidd - 2010-02-16 7:17 PM kcarroll - 2010-02-15 1:06 PM OK ghouls, who wants a skull and crossbones swim cap? I ran out over lunch to grab a new pair of goggles and they got a new shipment of caps in. If you want one, send me a PM with your address. I think I swim faster when I wear it. Still about 4x slower than Melindy the speedster, but fast for me. Kim I definitely want a skull and crossbone cap! You got one. Any color pref? I remember seeing blue, orange and lime green. May be more colors. |

Some Tracy Chapman, Peter Gabriel, Robert Palmer, The Bacon Brothers Pat Benatar, Alanis Morisette, Sheryl Crow Fleetwood Mac, Meatloaf, Pet Shop Boys Mary Chapin Carpenter, Garth Brooks, Sawyer Brown Eurythmics, Annie Lennox Melissa Etheridge, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Lots of Queen Martina McBride Soundtrack from The Lost Boys Matchbox 20, 3 Doors Down Some Sugarland, George Strait Tons and Tons of Disney music Elton John, Trisha Yearwood This is just a sampling Those bolded all sound good (not that the others don't...). Got any Red Hot Chili Peppers in there? or Green Day? Or anything else with a fast pace that would help me with, say, a cadence of 90-ish? |

Should I worry? (about my hubby's reaction that is). We're watching disney channel now. Only 20 minutes until the kids have to hit the showers and head to bed! yay! (wow I am so politically incorrect tonight...) |

(wow I am so politically incorrect tonight...) Sounds like fun! We've got Nickelodeon on here (iCarly). My son really liked the moguls competition and he thought Snowboard Cross was pretty cool. My daughter loves figure skating too. And don't worry about what the hubby thinks - I'm sure he'll be pumped that your son's watching the games. And P.S. - since when are we EVER PC in here? |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February!!! I have a load of laundry that needs to be folded too. I dumped it on the bed to try and force myself to fold it. If it stays in the dryer or the basket I have a bad habit of just picking out what I need. Should I be drinking wine while doing this? |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February!!! Alright, I gotta call it night. I'm trying to make a conscious effort to get more sleep lately. I think naps at work would be an effective solution to the problem but I guess they kinda frown upon that. Later! |

Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February!!! Ann--I find them quite comfortable...I actually find the rubber/foam annoying now...but I've been swimming for so long that maybe its just a result of being in the water 20+ hrs a week and now I have a hard time going back to normal goggles... Just watched Evan Lysachek (or however you spell his last name) skate....it was a pretty sweet short program...I don't think the channel has moved off the Olympics for 3 days... |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February!!! I just watched Patrick Chan skate. Weir is about to skate. His costume looks like a woman's corset, pink ribbons and all. I am enjoyng the olympics for sure. I want to see more snowboardcross, though. That was pretty cool. The luge/skeleton/bobsled have always made me cringe...I have no intention of watching any of that, especially after watching footage of the fatal crash last week. What's everyone else's fave/least fave events? |

The luge/skeleton/bobsled have always made me cringe...I have no intention of watching any of that, especially after watching footage of the fatal crash last week. What's everyone else's fave/least fave events? Hard to pick a favorite. I'm definitely an Olumpics junkie, especially the winter games. I've always loved the downhill ski races, hockey, speed skating, etc. I can even watch curling and get totally into it! I think my favorite event so far this year was the Men's Nordic Combined the other day. That was an amazing finish! |
