AAARGH!  This is what I shrieked when I saw Yanti's avatar this morning - i loathe spiders, I'm terrified, how long is this going to be here coz I need to take deep breaths before opening!

Salty - keep on running - as coach Johnny says, if you wanna swim faster you gotta swim faster, pretty sure the same applies to running.

I am super inspired this week - Kona has that effect!  I am starting to feel I can do this IM, just a twinkle of hope there, let's get it to grow to a full on spark.

Open invitation October 2014 Kona - there is an IM tour you can do, that's what me and some friends are doing....

So talking of inspired - here's what Macca had to say to his training group (I'm a member!!!) on FB on Monday.

Hey Guys, Tough Day at the office yesterday. Lots of things going against us during the day, but overall no excuses. Working through issues with the coaching team now and looking at possible problems. Right now assessing the changes we did in the preparation and possible issue may have been introduction of altitude training and the period of coming down for the taper. The adjustment with the body. Felt ridiculously flat yesterday and could not get my power numbers above my aerobic threshold. You continue to learn, but the next year the focus will be on returning to winning this event.

I have 16 very good reasons to visit Seattle. We are way past pineapple and a couple of good points.

I kid you not. When I am trying to sleep at night (um, after dawn), I plan my U.S. trip and it starts in Seattle, and I count all my human blessings there and whom I am going to see.

OMIGOSH I forgot to tell you--you FEATURED in my dream last night! Let's just say it involved international plane flights, security, booze, and ended up with us handcuffed to each other. Probably pretty prescient, wouldn't you say?

Yes, indeed we are.

Flights, security, booze and handcuffs? That all sounds about right. Obviously I would be the only one boozing so just don't let me drink too much or I'll be useless. 

HAHAHA ... in the dream, we wound up handcuffed together because I my sober (yet insane, as in real life) self was vouching with the authorities for your drunken (yet oddly sane) white butt.

Errr ... perhaps you should not read my blog entry today.

Oh eff me, I am going to need to get some coffee for this read.

But, along the lines of vouching and sanity and the likes. One time I was heavily intoxicated at a casino and attempted to play cards. I had no idea what I was doing. The dealer told me to cut the deck. I karate chopped - or "cut" the deck of cards with everything I had. Cards everywhere. Escorted out.

That's just a small glimpse of what you would be dealing with. You might even call me logical. 

Well, of course.

Yeah, in the dream ... we were in cattle class on the airplane but you kept sneaking into first to try to put all your booze bottles into the first-class kitchen's fridge.

Ah! I'm so smart, even in your dreams. 

You lined up the bottles so smartly they all crashed into each other when the plane went into a descent. And then you still snuck more in and they crashed again on the ascent.

Airline attendants and officials were NOT happy with you/us ... this is really fun, I just see our future together!

Gotta love dreams - they are so random but make perfect sense at the time!  Hilarious - this one could be a 'dream come true' moment - but there will be three of us....

Maybe I could bike 50 in 7 days?  Cause I sure aint gonna run that many...

I got on my bike for the first time in almost 2 months tonight.  Put 'er on the trainer and just did 30 minutes, but it's a start!

Me neither but probably should.  On those occasions when I'm out and it's lonely down on that beach, be nice if someone could identify me!

Watch out Salty - today i ran 7min kms - soon I'll be catching you when you go for a walk.
