I have 3 Extra Large Nike Dri-Fit Tech T-shirts.  Blue, green and white.  Excellent condition.

I haven't heard back from the original member who wanted these, so they are back on the market.  Please PM me with your interest and address.  Thanks.

Specialized rockhopper mountains bike shoes. 43 euro, 9 1/2-10 US. These are the older lace up model, wel used (scuffs) but quite clean. No funk smell. I bought them to use in a spin class at the gym. Worked well. Someone just gave me a tri pair off BT which i now use in the class so I want to return the favor. They take 2 hole cleats (SPD or Crank Bros). These are heavy shoes and will help you get stronger for sure. Prob don't want to go long on the trail with these beasts though. Just pay shipping or local pic up in Richmond, VA. Look like thesehttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Specialized-RockHopper-Mountain-Bike-Shoes-9-MTB-Rock-Hopper-size-42-mens-NR-/251160664007_trksid=p4340.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D2559788124991434969%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D4%26sd%3D290774667352%26Email for pics. iPad doesn't like the choose file option.

Hello everyone,

I have just decided to start training for my first ever triathalon.  I will be signing up for the half Ironman in Racine WI this coming July and I am SO excited!  I have been reading a lot about triathalons on-line and have purchased a book to learn more about the equipment needed, training strategies and schedules, healthy eating, etc.  I still have SO much to learn and would love some help - both in learning about this sport and learning about equipment needed.  If anyone has anything they would be willing to donate it would be greatly appreciated! I was a swimmer in high school, so I do have goggles, a suit, and an underwater MP3 player.  I also have a decent pair of running shoes.

I am a 5'6 female about 130lbs.  I do not know about sizing for a bike, or wetsuit, or even helmets, so any help is appreciated!

First of all, welcome to BT!  You will find some great advice and friendships here.  Everyone is extremely helpful, and this Pay it forward board is an incredible showing of the generosity and kindness of many of the people who frequent this website.  One thing to be careful of, and you may have already been told this by now, is that this board in particular is for people looking to donate their items.  It is very much against the nature of the this thread in the boards (and prohibited) to seek out items on here.  Please do not take this the wrong way as very few people here are judgmental (you'll always have a rare one-off).  Ask questions, learn and grow in this amazing sport of triathlon and embrace the lifestyle.  Occasionally you may even be fortunate enough to pick up an item or two off the pay it forward boards to help you in that journey.  Above all else, enjoy the lifestyle!

What Gunky said, especially about welcome to BT.

If you're looking for advice, you may want to start in the Introduce Yourself forum and move to reading/posting in Triathlon Talk.  Also take a look at the U.S. State forums at the bottom and check out the one for your state--great way to connect with local triathletes who area probably training in the your area and racing the same events you're interested in.

You can find stuff for sale (or post a Want To Buy) in the Classifieds forum, or keep an eye on this thread to see if somebody's offering something you need.  But you need to watch this thread closely, the stuff offered here tends to go very quickly.

Welcome!

This is part of my 2011 sponsorship gear package that I was never really able to use (heath issue with running kept me from ever racing that year).  I wore the tri kit on one short ride and the running shorts for a run.  All were washed after the one use. The running tank has never been used.  I'd keep them for training, but I really disliked the running shorts and I prefer my other cycling gear for training (though had I ever raced, the tri kit would have been fine for that).  Tri short pad is very minimal, it's a pad, but not much more substantial than the ones that are just felt.

All items are men's medium.  Running kit is true to size I'd say.  Tri kit was a little smaller than usual in the top (I'm 6-1, and was 155 at the time and it was nice and snug, in a good way).

The product is no longer made so hopefully they don't have an issue with me giving the stuff away .

First come, first served with a PM (not a reply to this post).

Tri kit gone.

forgot to mention, if OCONUS and shipping is over $5, I might ask for the difference between actual shipping and $5.

Pair of Specialized road shoes (not sure on model) size EU-42.5 US -9.5 but maybe a little stretched out. I am a 10-10.5 and came from the cram my foot in there school, that was before doing any real long rides. I now know better and am very thankful for a new shoe. Its a  great shoe in pretty good condition maybe 5-7 years old but used very little because of the size issue. All you gotta pay in the shipping. can ship any method, pre paid,us mail, UPS or fedex you choice. or if you are in souther VA (lynchburg area) all you gotta do is pick them up.

We are very excited to find this blog.  My son (16) will do his first tri Nov 4th.  I am clueless as to what to get for him to wear.  Reading through these posts have helped me tremendously.  I will be training through the winter for my first tri Father's Day weekend 2013!!  Thanks so much.

EDIT:  All gone!

Have 2 tri tops and one cycling jersey free to anyone in need (just pay shipping).

Red/black Sugoi XL tritop, bought about 2006 or so.  Worn for one or two seasons, then it was too big for me.

Blue/black Sugoi L tritop, bought about 2008.  Worn for a season or two, then it too was too big.

Canari large cycling jersey, bought about 2008.  A bit large, and I'm not a big fan of the blue anymore.

All zippers work, no tears or rips, elastic in good shape.  PM me if interested, and cover the shipping.
