Can someone please repost it so I don't have to hunt through another 20+ pages of posts from the weekend. Thanks. Page 1 on the first post there is a link to the spreadsheet that Beth added in there to make it easier to find. That is the one I use anyways. |

QueenZipp - 2008-10-08 7:22 PM tlnewman30 - 2008-10-08 8:20 PM Proving people wrong, great motivation! I use it myself. Usually on the self talk.ratkat - 2008-10-08 7:10 PM tlnewman30 - 2008-10-08 9:07 PM ratkat - 2008-10-08 7:04 PM good evening everybody... good morning Cat!!! Just coming back from the gym.... one hour of spinning and then 3.6 miles on the treadmill... I am TIRED!!!! Unplanned TOPPAGE!!! ;-) Nice workout. Bet you sleep good tonight. You are right... I shouldn't have issues to sleep tonight! ;-) BTW.... Your workout plan is impressive... I have so much respect for the marathon distance... I can not even picture ever going this far! :-) It just takes Baby Steps. That and for me, someone telling me that I would never be able to do it. I like proving people wrong. I never tried telling myself I couldn't accomplish something just to prove myself wrong. Maybe I will try it sometime. self...you shouldn't do that, it will stress your back other self...you can't sit around forever, go try self...you really can't do that run, your asthma is acting up other self...take 2 puffs of that inhaler, and 2 more puffs of the other one, lace up the shoes and GO self...well, you aren't wheezing other self...my point exactly, I'm not wheezing...just coughing (and yes, I have been known to run and cough the whole time --just read my log from last winter when I had pneumonia!)
Welcome to my world.... Maybe its time you signed up for a race so you have a goal, something to aim for and I know you really miss it. Then you can plan and achieve a goal instead of drifting all the time With all the injuries and health its way too hard because every time I start to increase training something starts acting up so I cant be consistent enough to achieve any results With a goal to aim for you will be more consistent as you will stop using your setbacks as an excuse But if I take it too hard I will end up with long term problems, even worse than now. I will wait until Ive lost some weight - then there will be less stress on my injuries at least. Working towards a goal will HELP you loose the weight and give you a reward from your hard work But Ive had so much trouble loosing weight I really shouldnt do anything that might cause an injury
And so it goes on and on and on..... |
