Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda TDF Challenge Thread (Page 8)

Ok 100.2 %  here, but my back's not happy (hopefully it's fine in the A.M.)

Stage 14 - 45 minutes on the road with the old Giant for over 13 miles until it got to dark to ride.

Stage 15 - 1 hour on the trainer with the Giant (still no sensors), which really killed my back that was already hurting from moving 30+50 pounds bags up and down the ladder Friday evening.  It might have hurt but I got it done and think I will be getting back this old bike that FITS and a few dollars.

I have enjoyed this challenge with each and everyone of you and hope this year to keep it going afterwards.  Hopefully yall will stay on my butt because I fell off pretty bad after doing good last year.  It seems like this is the only thing that gets my butt on the bike.

Second group to cross the line in Paris

Sky - ceilidh = brings team to 100% 

Garmin - chrisrunz26 = brings team to 93.5%

Europcar - sappho96 = brings team to 83.6%

No change in the other teams. Sky is in yellow but will they have to share the glory with another team? 

Anyone get a number for Doc Bob in Lake Placid????

J'ai finis mon tour avec 2 etages aujourdhui.  Je reste a Paris avec une biere froid

Lookit that.  13 years of French Immersion are still in there somewhere!  Had 2 stages left to get done today, but also a run on tap, so did a little reverse du to fit it all in.  Warm up ride, run, cool down ride.  Really enjoyed the challenge and being a part of this team!

Sky = 100% - all 5 riders at 100%

Omega Pharma = 98.7% - 5 at 100%, DirkP and soccermon15 yet to arrive

Garmin = 95.4% - 7 at 100%, Doctorbob18 and mndymond yet to arrive (though we know Doc did because he did IMLP yesterday!)

BMC = 94.6% - 5 at 100%, Dorm57, kgore, and staurtlittle9 yet to arrive

Europcar = 87.9% - 3 at 100%,  ashort33, suzilea, yogachic, and vanpaulus yet to arrive

Liquigas = 83.9% - 2 at 100%, emmanem and rnihill yet to arrive

Be sure to get it posted. So close. It was a great challenge. We still might make the Podium.

Hope the final went well!  Since you posted here, I recorded it on the spreadsheet.

As a team, we ended up at 98.43 - great job to everyone who met goals, pushed themselves, overcame injuries and reduced goals, and all in all got out and rode. 

Double win, what could be better? Life does matter. The challenge has been great keeping things going.

Final standings

Sky - 100% - first to arrive in Paris and wear the yellow jersey

Omega Pharma - 100% - shares the yellow jersey with Sky

Garmin - 98.4% - 8 riders at 100% = the team award

BMC - 94.6% - the constant contenders who didn't quite make it to the line = polka dot jersey

Europcar - 87.9% - lots of potential here = white jersey

Liquigas - 83.9% - lost two riders at the start but 3 of their 4 remaining were always in the hunt = green jersey

PODIUM FINISH!  and we beat BMC!  Great challenge everyone!  I had a wonderful few weeks getting motivated and riding with all of you!!!
