Swim and Bike Goals now 2 sessions away , So in good shape to Hit 100% there . My run goal is not going to happen as i have too much ground left to cover and needed a break after my race in the middle of the month . so we will see how close i get. Veteran 340 | Subject: RE: Fighting Artichokes - September End of Summer Challenge Good evening team! I had myslef a little race last weekend, finished just in time to hop on a plane for a week of training. I am over 100% on run and bike, and have 3 more weight sessions to go. I have met my goals in the order that I anticipated. I planned on resting for Oct, but....there is a run challenge...how can a gal pass that up? |

I like thunder or lightning...only if Im watching it from inside! today was somewhat of an off day for me...rode to and from work...but otherwise no training. I am at 100% on everything but my swim...need to go to the pool - just once before the first and I know I can do that this weekend or first part of the week...and then I will be complete....lets go team~we can still win this challenge! |

Master 1641 Seattle, California | Subject: RE: Fighting Artichokes - September End of Summer Challenge Hey team. Even with my sickness I'm pretty sure I'm going to hit 100% of my run goal. I'm going to try and get out for a 2 - 3 hour ride today and I might be able to get in my bike goal. It will be really close. H1N1 really set me back. As for my strength training goal I'm really sorry about that one guys. I'm probably not going to get much in at all. I'm just back at training after a 2 year absence and it was difficult to determine how my body would react to the training stress. I'm gearing up for a running race and playing with the limits of what my body can handle in that regard. In the interest of not running my body into the ground I had to cut strength training. I'm going to try and get in a few light sessions this weekend and next week though to make sure I don't put up a big fat 0. This challenge has been a great motivator though. I'm down 13 pounds over the last 26 days! 21 pounds in total since Aug 4th . |
