What has everyone set as their goals?

Mine are:
Bike 15 hours (at least 50% time at higher cadence)
Run 10 hours (run 10% faster by end of month)
Strength 1x-2x a week
Plus Swim 5 hours

lots of HM training here..I guess running will be big!

Well to be honest I haven't decided yet.  Living in Chicago I will have to travel and so I am trying to decide if I want to do that or just do the training plan twice and doing one next spring.  Plus I have some friends that are planning a small (CRAZY!!) race here in the snow on MLK day weekend!

there are lots of fun half marathons (SF, Luna Chick, San Jose Rock n Roll...) on the west coast....come on over! sf ones will be hilly the one Im doing SJ RnR is supposed to be flat and fast...sure it will be flat...but dont think I will be too fast on it! haha but will try and go as fast as possible without blowing up!

so racing in the snow eh!? sounds fun! but I would need my iceskates...dont run well in those kind of conditions...too afraid of falling...and at my age it could get ugly!!!!...it would be oops I fallen and I cant get up....just like in those silly comercials you see all the time on TV.

Morning! I put my goals at 30 mi run, 240 min bike, and 9 weight sessions. I ran all of Aug with my hip out, and was told to rest because the tissue is ticked off. Yeah that does not sit with me. However, the pain and swelling does temper it a bit. I had a 1/2 mary on 9-20, but am reducing it to a stupid 10k. Had to cancel my 1/2 in Oct too.

sorry about having to cancel the races, but it is probably better to let the hip get less angry...although I understand it not sitting well...I wouldn't like it either

Yeah the icy run could prove interesting...

I am looking at head west or south in December or January to do a half, I just need to convince my DH that week need to take a vacation to do a race!

Morning All!  I got one of my 8 stretching/PT sessions in last night.  Not sure I am going to get anything in today because I have a REALLLLY long day at work (12:30 hours).  But tomorrow morning I will either ride or run and I will do the other on Friday.

Running in ice and snow bites...that is how I doctor quote "busted the hell out of my leg". I live on the treadmill come November.

Hi Team

 Here are my  Goals

swim 15000 m

run 80 miles

bike 200 miles

I hit two of these goals last month .  The swim has been the hardest to make happen  due to pool hours and work and all .I have a long sprint race on Sept 13 th . And after that i am looking at doing a longer event in mid october.  My limiter is the swim so I  really need to bear down this month.

Training is thin this week due to the wildfires and the bad air quality.

I've got 2 hours on the bike the past two days. I'm hoping to swim and run tomorrow. I am going away for the weekend and that will involve 7-8 hour drives two of the days. I am bringing my bike and hope to bike and run a bit while away.

What does everyone have planned for the labor day weekend?

Thanks ,  fires are burning many miles  away from us and the smoke is blowing east (away from us) .  But its still not good to train locally .

OOHHH HAPPY HAPPY .....oh it's Thursday. Hummmm well have a good pre-Friday! Tonight is a torture session (weights). The plan I am following this month is rough. I have company coming this weekend, but they are here to see my HB. I am going to run, lift weights, bike, and make plum jam. I think I am taking my kids to a Theme Park on Friday to play in the water park. I really should be working, so I will have to throw in work on the weekend.
